Forum Rules
In this great country we live in, we are fortunate enough to have a Bill of Rights, which describes inalienable that we as humans and citizens have. Among these is freedom of speech, which protects your right to say anything you want without fear of persecution. Also in this great country, we are less fortunate to have things like the Patriot Act, FCC, and website hosting Terms of Service. These can be thought of as amendments to freedom of speech, making it so you can be prosecuted for saying certain things, because after all, "there ought to be limits on freedom." So here are the rules for this forum. We likely won't take any legal action against you for violating them, since we aren't particularly fond of these rules, but we will delete the offending thread and ban your sorry ass and ridicule you incessantly in your absense. These rules are very simple and someone of incredibly low intelligence should be able to follow them, since they're essentially the Invision TOS but dumbed down a whole lot.
1. No posting pornographic images or hotlinked images from other websites. If you want to post an image on the forum, use a free image hosting service such as Image Shack (www.imageshack.us). 2. No racism, homophobia, or other prejudice is allowed, except for making fun of organized religions. Religions are beliefs and ideas you can make a choice on and should be responsible for it. Making fun of things like ethnicity and skin color and other biological traits or shortcomings you have no control over is just mean. 3. No threats of violence or harm to another member. 4. No posting of someone else's personal information without their consent. 5. Foul language is permitted, as long as it is not "excessive." Don't you love ambiguous guidelines? 6. No petty arguing in the forums. Use The Local Butcher Shop forum for that. Civilized debate is allowed. 7. Post topics in the right forum(s). 8. The Moderators reserve the right to ban you for any reason not listed. Hosted for free by InvisionFree (Terms of Use: Updated 7/7/05) | Powered by Invision Power Board v1.3 Final © 2003 IPS, Inc.
