OK it goes like this.
After a shit few days with chavettes with their little shits in buggys giving me nothing but grief cos there is either not enough buggy spaces.....or god forbid....a non buggy friendly bus I have formally launched a campaign to ban low floor buses and reintroduce step entry buses.

Don't see how that's going to work, as you'll piss off them that get on buses with wheel chairs like.
How many wheelchair users do you actually carry??? In 8 months I have probably had about 4.
something like the royale is a good idea, stops the bloody chavs and their brats. I flatly refuse to get the lift out for buggys. (we have a few of them down here....cornwalls newest double deckers)

I can see what you mean, in 6 years of travelling on the same route, which was recently upgraded with Loliner Tridents that can't get above 35mph, I haven't seen one wheelchair passenger. As a result of the "new" buses (well they were in 2000) the services never run on time, since they are expected to average 55 mph from the outskirts of town to the first village the service passes through! (the old Step entrance Volvo and Leyland Olys all ran pretty much to time, Tridents take over 40 mins to cover just 5 miles.

There are two that get on regularily. Had one of them twice within a few days like. Also occasionally pick up a one legged man in a wheel chair who is able to get his chair onto the bus by himself without assistance. So do pick a fair few up.
