Ghost, I just watched your videos and I have a suggestion to make. I think you could make a vid present us with your latest projects and what techinques you've used and so forth like you've done so far. In addition you could add some stills to the end of your presentation so that we could get a clearer picture about your work. Alternatively you could post the stills here.

I like your paint job on the Knights and I'm loving the basing of the Slaanesh Chaos Champion.

Exarch I'd love to haha. Only thing is that I havent been doing too much. Im just slowly lettin my bank account grow so that I can buy the batallion and then itll be all systems videos and stills

Lately its just been alot of terrain making from a few things here and there. I;ve also been working on a side project of a Dark Elf combat oriented force without all the cheese If people want, I can do a lil vid of that bit of progress and let cha'll see.

NOW TERRAIN!


A kind of blocked wall/ruin/thing with my *SHADES*(wood elf glade guard). Made from oasis blocks and following the general idea from a Miniwargaming.com idea. Im not over the moon about the result as it isnt the most amazing thing I've ever scene. But I guess it serves its practical purpose.


Okay, this is a big phat block of styrofoam that I had in the garage that I turned into some kind of... thing ;D. Outpost as it shall hence be called! basically I tried to seal it with glue as has been previously suggested... but it didnt work very well so I ended up spray painting anyway. The result was pretty alright. Majority of areas were protected but those that werent looked quite crumbled and gave a nice effect. Assorted ruble on the outpost was from the Mines of Moria set ;D. The big Chaos pillar at the back was just a random carving i did from a block of oasis and then sprayed up. The wall in the front, while yes it has not been completed yet, is a small wall in progress. Just requires a dab of paint ;D


A little Chaos shrine ;D. I got the idea after reading Graham Mcneil's "The Ambassador". Good god i thought! So i made something kinda ramshackle but was meant to be left alone in the wilds for passing marauder bands to lay sacrifices to the Dark Gods ! Again made from Oasis green blocks (can u tell how useful this stuff is!?) sprayed up and the lil skulls on top of the triangle altar were from my bitz box ;D

Hydra looks great. I believe pinning is done by drilling a hole in both sides of a join with a pin vice and then putting a bit of metal (like a paperclip) to hold the two pieces more firmly together. It's supposed to help a lot.

You mentioned maybe getting some stills up, that'd be great. It's hard to appreciate all the detail on a video.

CotEC residents I thought I should comment on a few things;

1) yesterday I received the Tzeetch Lord of Disc (amazing mini) suffice to say I'm assembling him at the moment. Once the painting has been completed - a new Ghost update will be thrown up on YouTube

2) Comments people. Please! I beseech thee my fellow Chaos followers! This thread holds in excess of 1k views (a solid effort!) yet there are so very few comments... Please people! The more comments I get, the more I'll put into this project! Criticisms and general acknowledgement is great ;D
