Title: The plan for the coming months...

Ok, so here's the deal. I know I haven't been on STEAM a whole lot, and neither has hondo. We've been doing CoD 4 and 5, getting ready for the release of modern warfare 2, which we have both pre-ordered. We don't stay on steam at the same time, because, well, we can't get a game in on CoD without half the people on our friends lists inviting us to games of l4d. That's normally not a bad thing, but Call of Duty doesn't like steam, and when someone tries to chat with us while we're in those games, we either have to alt-tab out of the game to answer or punkbuster kicks us out because it thinks STEAM is a disallowed program.

So if someone wants to get ahold of us to talk to us, I highly recommend xfire. For those of you that don't know what xfire is, it's basically an instant messenger for people who play video games. It integrates into virtually every pc game ever made, so you can chat to people while inside your game. It also allows you to see what they're playing, and in which server they're playing. It also does other things such as record gameplay videos, take in-game screenshots, and automatically download patches for your installed games. You can get xfire at xfire.com. If you want to add me, the name there is PaladinArndt.

I also highly recommend Teamspeak; especially since we have our own teamspeak server now.

Anyway, as far as the next few months go, here's the 2 big things that are going to happen. Left 4 Dead 2 and Modern Warfare 2. As long as nothing really life changing happens between then and now, we will be getting servers for both of those games. Hondo will be in charge of the left 4 dead 2 server, and I will be in charge of the Modern Warfare 2 server. (I'm currently in charge of the left 4 dead server and hondo's in charge of the teamspeak one if anyone was curious.)

Oh, and for those of us with Call of Duty 4, I'm currently in the middle of negotiations to have a clan match against our friends over at the ZeN clan. I've sent a PM to Teeth about it and will read his response once I'm done working today.

Troops dismissed.

I like xfire, plus it has a plugin for miranda so even when you're not gamin you can keep it up there with your other chat protocols. "

Yeah, it's a lot more useful than STEAM ever thought of being.

yeah, steam just has ADHD I think...

eh, I might go dl it just to have it and keep in touch lol. I been playing this new MMO, not sure if I will be able to afford L4d2 when it comes out.

Damn it man, stop spending your thousands of dollars on hookers. I've told you this before, it's not a wise investment. At least, not in the long haul. Especially when you add the cost of the medical bills later.

i bumped my room mates car last night coming out of the garage and apparantly its going to be $1500 to replace.

=cGc=Paladin - September 25, 2009 05:51 PM (GMT)
Damn. How hard did you "bump" it?

Matt - September 26, 2009 07:19 AM (GMT)
not hard at all... maybe 3 mph? I was rolling out of the garage.

=cGc=Paladin - September 26, 2009 09:47 AM (GMT)
3 miles an hour and the cost is $1500? What the hell does he drive then? A Jaguar? I replaced an entire door on my truck for $600.

well Im guessing he went to an expensive place instead of a little mexican run place.

=cGc=Paladin - September 27, 2009 10:27 AM (GMT)
So those are the only two options in vegas, eh? Expensive or mexican.... seems to be becoming a common problem...
