In a time before written word, there was a strong demon, who went by the name, Kurama.
He was a kitsune demon, and used his natural skills to become on of the best know theives of the entire Reikai. He had never been caught, and never looked back, until he met Asumi. He had tried to steal from her home, but he had run into her, and fell in love.
Sadly, Asumi died before Kurama was able to tell her he loved her, and he swore never to steal, or love, again. Koenma saw great potential in Kurama, and offered him the job as Lord Death. Sadly, once Kurama accepted the job, he lost his Youkai side, and become a mortal called Minamino Shuuichi.
As Shuuichi finished moving into his new apartment, and old friend, Urameshi Yusuke came for a sudden visit. As it so happens, he had won tickets to see his favorite person singing in concert, and wanted to take Shuuichi along with him.
Shuuichi was coaxed, more like dragged, to the concert, where this story takes place. He is drawn to the sound of the singers voice, and he feels a spirit power from her. Shuuichi then realizes, that this girl is the missing spirit world princess.
Princess Hikari was sent to earth as a newborn, to be saved from an attack when the demons had tried to take over the spirit relem. She had never been found, and was taken as dead...that is...until now.
