Introduction

• When registering, please register with a first and last name.

• DM is a 'R' rated board which means that there will be some sexual and violent content. However, please use the fast-forward button and do not go into graphic detail. Put a warning into your thread's name, a simple '[W]' or '{Rated - R}' and keep it limited. Being R rated doesn't mean we're allowing people to do whatever they want in every little detail, and if we see people abusing this rating then we'll drop it right down.

• Every two weeks we will be taking an activity check to make sure that the site stays neat and that members are being active. You must post at least once a week to be considered completely active. If you will be away for a while, a vacation or something like that, you must post and let us know!

• DM is a intermediate board, which means we want to see good and lengthy posts as replies to their threads, and it shows that the other player is putting a lot of thought and effort into their posts. If you know you won't be able to write more than two well-organized paragraphs, just don't join. We understand that you may get writers block, but please try to get in good lengthy posts if at all possible.

Characters and Registration

NEW RULE! - All show canon characters must register with the official japanese name. This goes for senshi and civilians. Site canon's and original characters may register with any name they like however.

• People can sometimes just wag the canon list and register a canon like an idiot. If you can't register a canon, that never means it is taken. The true one is the canon list. It is updated very often and you should look at the list to see who is taken and who's available. PM an admin if a canon is not taken but registered. If you register as a canon, be sure to claim it.

• Some important canon characters require a good effort and better work on the application as well as activity. Be sure that you remember that. Don't register as Sailor Moon then disappear. You won't be accepted twice in the site, show respect to the staff and board. If you reserve and register as a canon and you decide you don't want to be on the board anymore PM an admin. It's the polite thing to do, and we won't bite your head off.

• Gary Stu's and Mary Sue's will be declined after the first warning. Sorry but having this kind of character shows what kind of a role-player you are and no one likes perfectionists who act like they're the best all the time. Just avoid that, flaws in personality and appearance is a must!

• The maximum number of the characters you can have is six. But know yourself. If you can only have one or two characters and keep them all active then limit yourself.

Personal Messaging

• Do not PM an admin every time you see a mistake or suggest something. Only PM an admin when you have a personal issue.

• Advertising is okay, but there's one rule. If you advertise your site, advertise us too or be sure to have an advertisement part in your board allowing guests to post, so we can also advertise. Read the guidelines before posting an advertisement, the ad will be deleted if you don't follow the guidelines.

• Double Posting in the advertising forum is not allowed! You cannot advertise the same site twice or more. That will be assumed as a Spam.

• There is no advertising in the chat box.

Graphics

• All the graphics in this board are copyrighted to their makers, do not steal an icon or a graphic from the site. If you like one, take it but credit back to the maker.

• Posting the appearance representing images in your role-play threads are ok and nice. But no offensive/mature images! We are a R rated board, true but don't go over the top. Give out a link if you post images; do not directly put them in the threads.

• Avatars must be 100x100 and no more. I don't want to see smaller or stretched images. Signatures must be no bigger than 500x200. If you use icons, no more than 5 icons in your signature.

Crediting

• You must give credit to the maker if you use someone else's work. This includes the icons you searched and found from Livejournal, to the plot template you use. If i realize that you didn't give credit, you'll be warned.

Roleplaying

• All RP posts must be made in the third person. You cannot post in first person.

• You must understand and respect the tag system. If a topic is tagged for a character, or group of character's that does not include you, and you may not post there. Likewise, if you wish to role-play with a specific character or group of characters, tag it for them by putting their name(s) in the topic description.

• Some language is permitted, but don't go over the top. Do not swear unless you genuinely think it is appropriate for the situation. Do not just swear for the sake of swearing. If you abuse the privilege of being permitted to swear you will receive a warning.

• Also respect posting order. Group threads tend to fall apart without them. Only post out of order if you have permission from whoever you are passing over.

Drama

• Drama is okay, but if you exaggerate it, you'll be warned again. Ah, bad me. I don't want everyone to get pregnant or everyone getting killed. The only characters that will be killed will be NPC's unless both parties discuss it with an admin and get it approved before hand. The same goes for pregnancies. We don't want 50 pregnant girls running around the site. PM an admin to get permission and realize that we will not say yes to everyone. You have to have excellent reasoning for why your character should be.

Godmoding

• You know what is this right? You cannot decide what happens to the person and how he or she acts upon a movement your character does. If you throw a ball at someone, he or she has the power to decide it if the ball hits or misses. If you start Godmoding you will be warned! You may however play NPC characters in your posts.

Posting

• There is a two paragraph minimum. I would like at least 300 words. I realize sometimes you just can't get that out. If you do you will receive a warning.

• Please check out the description of the thread. Please do not reply to the threads that are specially written for someone else. It's rude and you'll be warned.

• There's a special OOC board that you can post and spam however your heart desires. Do not post OOC in your threads! If you really need to say something, use double parenthesis like ((Eek. Writers Block.)) , but don't do it with every post.

Applications

• If I tell you to edit something, no objection! If we want you to explain something in more detail, it's not because the application looks empty, it's because we want to learn more about the character!

• Unfinished applications are okay but when you are finished with them, bump the thread or if an admin is on let them know in the cbox. We don't have a sixth sense now, do we? You have to get accepted in four days otherwise your character will be deleted and if it's canon, it'll be up for grabs.

The Last and MOST Important Rule

• Have fun!
