Due to a variety of reasons, Death Calls has moved from board to board, often in the middle of important subplots and causing a break from one element to another while the previous board was locked up and hidden away from public view, leaving those ancestor threads in the past. However, an archive board was set up so that current and new players to DC could look over threads from the previous site. Only In Character DC3 and DC4 threads are included, and only those that had more than two or three posts.

The administrators of the Archive claim no ownership of the threads, ideas, or the characters represented, except for where certain characters do belong to them. The administrators have also kept the threads in their entirety, except to make reading easier by adding certain punctuation ( quotation marks, namely).
