basics1. Please register with a FIRST AND LAST NAME. No middle names. Those stretch the board. Also, please register with proper capitalization. That would be Annie Smith. annie smith, annie ophelia smith or any variation of that is not cool. Also, use your common sense. Vamp99991 will never be okay.
2.If your are inactive for over a month, and have not posted in the 'AWAY' board, your character(s) will go up for adoption, and the account name will be deleted.
3.RESPECT your fellow player and the Administrators. If you fail to respect people, your account will be deleted, and you will be banned without question.
4. APPLYING Please fill out the
A p p l i c a t i o n and making your own topic under
s ub m i s s i o n with your characters first and last name and then the actor/actress/singer...etc who is portraying them.
5. Until you are accepted YOU CANNOT POST! Accept for under OOC. One major rule is don't spam under the OOC thread or it will be erased for abuse. Also don't just sign up to advertise your boards!
role play1. An important concept is that of MATURE CONTENT. If you need mature content for your plot to work, then go ahead, be my guest. As long as you M the TITLE (so people can see straight away) and as long as you don't make it literary porn or bloodfest. Also, if I'm contacted by anyone saying they're feeling uncomfortable about you - if you're trying to involve them in literary porn or just a thread they're uncomfortable with, I'll deal with it, so make sure both you and the other person are cool with it.
2. On the same topic, PORN OF ANY KIND IS NOT TOLERATED. Literary or photographic, please understand it will never be okay. Ever. Okay
3. There's no word minimum here, because that's just lame and elitist. But I do expect a level of proficiency so no one-liners at minimum a two-liner. We're HIGH INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED. Thanks, guys. Helps us out here. If it makes sense to be short, fine, but use your discretion.
4. PLAY NICE, be nice. Don't be mean, or cliquey to anyone. We're not a cliquey site. Let's be a friendly, happy site. Don't pick fights, enter arguments. Just be the bigger person and walk away
5. Powerplaying, Godmothering, Gary/Mary Sueing and Illiteracy will NOT be permitted. There is no way around this. If an administrator catches anyone doing any of these, they will get a warning and asked to edit their post. If it continues, the account will be deleted.
6. NO killing other people, obviously. They control their own players, not you. Unless they give you explicit permission, and discuss it with an Administrator first, do not try to take over their actions or sayings.
chat box1. RESPECT everyone in the chat box. If you have an issue with anyone don't bring it into the chat box. Deal with it privately.
2. Don't STEAL someone's identity and start drama.
3. PLEASE use your alias/name when using the chat box.
4. The Chat Box isn't there for ADVERTISEMENT of web sites. Place the Adds in their proper place.
consequencesCONSEQUENCES vary. The Administrator's will discuss it privately to come up with proper punishment. We don't want to delete anyone, but we will not allow people to break the rules, and get away with it.
