This is a tradition handed down by me from father to son. Basically, all of the butt-wipes of the site who get deletd get little snippets dedicated to them, and famous dead people get their own little places. Oh, and don't bother replying- only admins can post new things.

Well let me start by saying I have passed the 100 mark... yay me.

Mohammad Ali died yesterday. No, not the boxer.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohammad_Ali_%28actor%29

Apparently, he spoke Arabic.

And isn't it funny, I never thought there were bad guys in Arab movies. I never thought about it. No offense to my Arab friends.

Adwaitya, the world's oldest living animal, died. It's amazing how long t lived.

Tortoise

If you click the link on his most famous owner, Robert Clive, you can get a better idea of how old it is. It really amazes me.

Well this is a first for Doobadoo- our first member has been turned into a penis.

Congratulations Sudburykid! Even though you are trying to get me and Ferny so pissed off we'd ban you, we aren't. We're showing you a little compassion. Eventually though, I will probably delete you. Maybe. So just keep being a dick and we'll see what happens. As our policy here at Doobadoo is to not ban anyone, you are not being banned. The final decision is up to Johnny Guadalupe himself, so watch it kid.

Well we have three new dead people

The first two you guys are probably going to criticize.

Lyn Nofziger-Press Secretary under Ronald Regan

Caspar Weinberger- Secretary of Defense under Ronald Regan

weird how they dies so close to each other.
the third person is no other than Peter Wells, the guitarist for the band Rose Tattoo. They had a huge impact on AC/DC back when, and are counted among the greatest rock bands to ever come out of Australia.

I salute you guys.

Kinda relevant...

Cartoonist Zeke Zekley has died.

And kinda sad...

Leon Navarre, 105, was France's youngest living WWI vet.
There's a total of I think maybe 30 or 40 living WWI vets in the entire world.
Johann Worsch, a WWI German vet, died the day before Navarre did.

And some anniversaries-
61 anniversary of Joseph Goebbels suicide (propaganda minister of Nazi Germany)
and 61st +one day anniversary of Adolf Hitler suicide.
Mussolini died 64 years ago last friday, and Yamamoto last Monday I believe.

and interesting...
Today is National U.S. Loyalty Day
funny day to pick a protest.

Ah, and 299 anniversary of the formation of Great Britain.

You should change this section to special events day or something. We don't have enough members to put them on the Wall of Shame list.

And if you wanted to be loyal to the greatest country in the world, the United States of America, then you should stand for what you believe in, like protesting, because it's our right as Americans to stand against failing leaders and events that we have caused.

good point. but its also for famous people. and just dead stiffs in general.

That is a very good point. Consider me rebutt-ed.

Nothing really to do with anything important, but remember Camilla? The woman Prince Charles married? (first wife Diana?) Well, her father, Bruce Shand, died today. Boo-hoo. Oh, and if the topics you guys say you can't post in is The Wall of Shame section, I made it that way on purpose. Only admins can postr in here, as we are the official record keepers for dead members and what not.

Borgy Ligeti, a musician, died yesterday. His most famous works were in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey. Look up the movies theme. I know youve heard it before- its probably one of the most famous orchestral pieces of the 20th century.

Aaron Spelling died recently.

22 April 1923 - 23 June 2006

He was famous for the many popular TV shows he produced, such as Beverly Hills 90310 and Charlie's Angels. He will be missed.

Such a sad week... I just found out that Syd Barett, the lead singer for Pink Floyd, died... so sad.
I also just found out that Kenneth Lay and another bigwig that was charged in the ENRON scnadal died not to far aart from each other... perhaps a bad business deal?

Rest in peace.

He was brought down by a stingray barb to the heart, leaving a wife and two children behind.

It's kind of like your crazy uncle dying unexpectedly. I've been feeling sad the whole day.
