Has anyone here been waiting for this game? I heard it's supposed to be really good.

I can't believe you didn't hear about it.
I'll tell you a little bit about it, but if you want to know more about it, then click here.

It begins when you're in the middle of war a few years in the future against North Korea. There are 4 different factions that are in the war against North Korea for different reasons and they don't normally ask for help from each other. These factions are the Allies, South Korea, China and the Russian Mafia. The main reason that war was declared was because a general named Choi Song has been reported as planning to send nukes to terrorist organizations. The AN (Allied Nations) have put $100,000,000 bounty on his head.

In this game you can use any weapon and hijack any vehicle you find as well as kill anybody you want. You go through more than 20 missions (I think) for each of 4 different factions that all fight against North Korea. You also can hunt down the "Deck of 52" which are the 52 most wanted people in the world. General Song is the Ace of Spades. You can use money you gain from blowing up any enemy buildings, completing missions and capturing people from the Deck of 52. You can use that money to be Artillery and Surgical Strikes as well as ask for Supply Drops from different factions and you can purchase vehicles from the Mafia.

I'll tell you more if you have any questions about this game.

I've heard about the game. But, I didn't really follow up on it.

I'm guessing this is influenced by Iraq where the Americans have a giant cash bounty on al-Zaqari and had this deck, right?

In Mercenaries, they have the Deck of 52 which are the 52 most wanted people in the world. All of those people are nicknamed stuff like Three of Clubs and Eight of Spades. General Song is the most wanted and he's the Ace of Clubs.

I guess we won't be doing something for quite a bit. I had just turned to AoK, and entered the scenario design contest, but, I'm just researching for now.

Just work on with what you have, or just come here and chat. This team isn't serious in their or even significant enough to gain status within the community.

If you you don't have anything, then, it's not big a deal.

Things are turning slower than expected....

EE2 and AoE3 are the main hopes for this Spring.

If you put it that way, yes, it's dormant, more or less.

Everyone is busy these days.

It'll rebound, though.

Yes, we're "dormant". In hibernation, perhaps, but not dead. biggrin.gif
