Fairies are truly extraordinary creatures. They look like the larger humans in build, but are much, much smaller and have the gift of flight given to them by multi-shaped wings. They don't have magical powers as many stories say. When they are happy and healthy they emit a glow, which brightens on holidays and festivals.

They work hand and hand with the humans, collecting nectar and fruit in exchange for protection and a few little details. A few have taught humans to fly, including Peter Pan. They've also been employed by the Lost who retrieve children from the real world, using their fairy dust to help the Lost fly and the rescued child until they return home to Never Never Land.
