TT is the names of two well-regarded freeware Japanese platformers. Both are being developed for Wii-Ware by a company called
Nicalis. Not only are they being ported, but both projects are being worked on by the original creators, and promise to include bonus content. I don't know what the bonus content for Cave Story will be, but a LOT has been promised for La-Mulana (new music, several new areas) and they've already displayed a redone graphics interface for the game.
You can find
La Mulana stuff here and Cave Story stuff
here. I'm more partial to La-Mulana, and it also opened a world of emulation for me by introducing me to the MSX universe. But Cave Story is an incredible game.
Also, it's probably best to link to the wiiware sites for
cave story and
La Mulana too. So there you go.
Even though this is fairly old news for anyone who pays attention to these games, I didn't know about La-Mulana coming to Wii-Ware so I felt like I should post some info about both games. I am pretty sure there are at least a coupla people (Ivan? Reyde?) on here who like Cave Story, and if you like Cave Story you might want to check out La-Mulana as well.
If you need help on la-mulana, you can definitely ask me. There are also several youtube guides, deceasedcrab's is probably the best.
EDIT-I figure most people who will be interested in this already know what Cave Story is, but La-Mulana is more obscure, I think. Here are a coupla links to a guy playing La-Mulana. The second is kinda far into the game so if you are afraid of spoilers, don't be because the story is almost entirely nonexistent.
