So! Today is officially my favorite holiday EVER. The day after Halloween when all the candy and chocolate goes on sale. I may or may not have bought $40 worth, including 2lbs of Rockets. I'm going to be permanently sugar high for the next month, mmkay? LOVE YOU GUYS! :D

Jeebus! 2 pounds of rockets would probably send me into a coma. I have noticed this same trend myself, and I had to exercise a lot of self control not to go and buy a bunch of the 70 packs of reese chocolate. Peanut butter cups are like the only vice I have left. I wish everyone around you lots of luck in the coming months :P

Oh God, I would just die if I had 2 pounds of Rockets. :o

I should totally get a bunch of money and scoop up all the bargain bin Twix bars and such. That's all you can find around here day after Halloween.

But I didn't trick-or-treat. I partied. It was kinda win-lose. Lose because I don't get any of those white candy stick that you can't ever find when it's not Halloween. But on the plus side, grinding with my girlfriend. Woo woo it all works out.

I had fun on Halloween.

and I got plenty of candy to last me from about a week to a month. Depends on how I approach eating it. I'll probably eat it sparingly though.

I didn't even party on Halloween. I could have, but I chose to just work out and then sleep. I don't see how growing up has anything to do with lousy parties though? I've been to parties with my uncle who's over 40 with like 200+ people.

I passed out candy. Very exciting.

Then again, I made the best of it in my own little way.

~Anyone over 12 that had a costume that was obviously made on the walk over to my house ("lol I forgot mine" "hah, I don't have a bag man..."(upside-down skateboard), highschoolers who just showed up with a walmart bag and nothing else) = LAX Stick to the leg.
~Parents carrying a knocked out 2 year old child in a stroller at 11PM insisting that the child "still wants more" = Verbal rape (I live on the corner of my street, and I could literally see people from all 4 blocks around me just stop and stare. At first the reaction was nasty to say the least, but eventually they started cheering me on, and I could tell another one was showing up because the whole neighborhood suddenly started coming out of the woodwork.)
~For some reason, the ones that pissed me off the most were the people who would spend a minute trying to get settled back in a minivan, drive 15 feet, and then unload like 7 kids, when it could've literally took like 10 seconds to walk. (I guess that's just the meta-gamer in me, it's so damn inefficient) = If I knew it was going to be a big group, I would call down whoever came before them (or in one case, just told my little brother to get outside and stand infront of me), and then I would give the group before them giant ass fucking handfuls each, and then when the group would walk up, I'd give them all 1 piece of gum each.

Another group that pissed me off were the people who started at like 4-5PM, I understand it's the weekend, and the whole day you're basically waiting to start, but holy shit, what happened to starting at dawn?

On the plus side, I got a bit of much needed LAX practice in on downtime, and got to watch UT win on a mini-TV.

I'm sharing most of my candy. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna make new friends. :D

My best friend likes to mention the fact that since the candy I bought was half price, I effectively bought $80 worth of Halloween candy. Most people just gape when they find that out.

I think only like 10 Rockets have been eaten so far; 5 by me and 5 by my roommate. I'm hoping this will last me till Christmas, but goodness knowssss!

P.S. I spent Halloween in res doing nothing. Well, listening to a drunk guy tell us his life story and hit on me. Interesting night, indeed.

I had to google "Rockets Candy", why the hell are they called Smarties here?

Edit: waitwat.... and then the UK makes their own "smarties"

(Posted Image)

Which is basically the exact same thing as American "M&Ms"...

(Posted Image)

This is so damn confusing... And ontop of that, here's the difference between Canadian "Rockets", and American "Smarties"

(Posted Image)

wtfisthisshit.

Man you can't really compare real smarties to M&M's. M&M's are like 100 times better than smarties. With M&M's you can actually taste the chocolate, and they use half decent chocolate, with smarties all you taste is the retardedly thick sugar coating.

I don't know about all the other "smarties" out there but rockets is rockets and none of your internet proof will change that for me.
