I. General Posting Rules.

01. Respect is imperitave. If you can't say something nice, this isn't the place for you. This is a warm and friendly community, and we don't want people coming in here and bashing everyone. Again, if you just can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

02. Anything you should post should be in accordance with the invisionfree terms of use. Please use common sense when you post, whether in character, out of character, or in the cbox.

03. Avatars should be 100x100. They'll resize anyway, but it's just an fyi because if they're too much bigger, they'll get all suishy and stuff. Signatures shouldn't stretch the page in any direction. And they shouldn't violate rule number one.

Character Creation Rules

01. Please join with your character's first and last name written properly. As in Lucy Price, not lucy price, or LUCY PRICE, or ilovejanausten. If you mess up, it's alright; don't worry about us banning you or anything. Please PM a staff member asking us to change it for you.

02. You may have as many characters as you like, as long as you can keep them active. I hate to limit anyone's creativity, but 13 characters may be a little too much. But hey, if you've got plots for all of them, that's great.

03. PBs. Yes, I know some people dislike using PBs. But it would be really super amazing if you had one. If you can't think of anyone for the character you have in mind, we'll be more than willing to help out in the cbox (or if you can't find graphics for a specific PB, Pixie would be willing to make you some). As for who you may use, that's up to you. My one exception is myspace/scene models. They don't really fit in with the time and place.

In Character Rules

01. I'm not a fan of breaking those terms of service. ; ) That means sexual content is not okay. I don't care if your character does not have nun-like morals, but you may not play out any encounters of that nature. Minor "off-color" language is okay, but not to an excess.

02. There isn't a post minimum or maximum. Again, I'm letting you monitor yourselves with this. As long as you give others enough room to post, you're good to go. Some action, some speech, a little thought and explanation is good. One sentence...not so much. Again, we won't go insane about it, because RPing is about having fun.

03. Posts should be in third person, past tense. It's easier to read if everyone does the same thing. Plus, 1819 was a looong time ago, which would make it past anyway. ; ) Also, it would be awesome if you could check your posts for spelling and grammar errors. No one is perfect when it comes to this, but it would be greatly appreciated if you made a little bit of effort.

Final Notes

01. The staff has the right to correct the members as they see fit. If you have a problem with any of the staff, please contact another staff member, and, in a polite tone, express the situation as succinctly as you can. Remember, we're people too, and we're bound to make mistakes.

02. Have fun! That's what RPing is about. If you're not having fun, we want to remedy that for you. Suggestions and feedback are always appreciated. Just let us know what we can do. = )
