On the night of the New Year, popular girls Estella, Kaida, and Evangeline decided to spend the night together, rather than throw a knock-out party as always. What reason they decided this is unknown, though at least two of them wish they hadn't.
Near eleven o'clock, Stella and Kaid blow up in a heated argument, reasons for which cannot be remembered. Eva intervenes and, choosing her long-time friend over Stella, tells the beautiful blonde to go elsewhere--anywhere but her bedroom.
However, it's now mid-January, and Estella Hawthorne hasn't been seen or heard from. Missing person reports have been filed, the girls questioned, but the police are just as baffled as the rest of the town. Kaid and Eva, however, have almost forgotten about the mysterious night; they've been too involved with the limelight that is shining on them, rather than their old friend.
Yes, they've almost forgotten, except for the guilt nagging their minds:
Telling them the whole thing is their fault.
