The thread for consciousness expanding words.
share your own.

Philosophy.
one definition is never enough and so, here's google collating a pile of them together for this great word: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&defl=en...nition&ct=title

Epic.
again, multiple definitions through google: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=defin...pic&btnG=Search

Ephemeralization.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ephemeralisation
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ephemeralization
"It refers to the ability of people to use technological advances to continuously do more with less."

Synergy
A great word, a great concept. Like "amplification" and "catalyst".

Inlakech
south american greeting, meaning "you are another myself" according to the translation given in The Mystery of the Crystal Skulls (the book, not the documentary, which i haven't seen).

Wholey
.... the root of holy. whenever you next hear someone talk about something being holy, try disregarding your concept and interpretation of the word, and instead consider the meaning of what they say if they were saying it was "whole-ey", somewhat akin to "fully", being whole. blink.gif

Light.
if you understand light, you understand how genius this part of our language is. if you are traveling at the speed of light, it's rather probable that you will be as light as you can get... as in low mass. impressive eh? light in weight and light in bright. hehe. further, if you were to sit on a photon, traveling from the most distant star or quazar, what to us sitting on this planet would seem like millions of years, to the photon would be but an instant! such is the way of the time distortion at the speed of light, it ceases to exist. or so i'm told. now think about that as you look around you, recieving light bouncing into your retina, light around everywhere.... same instant, eternally! talk about epic eh? biggrin.gif

The Lords Prayer

Matthew 6:9 v13 (King James Version, Bible)
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Luke 11:2 v4 (King James Version, Bible)
And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in Heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

This shows that even the bible does not have it's writings set in stone.

I find it is easier to remember rhyming poetry.

Lords Prayer - This a possible updated version

Our Father, who dwells in Heaven
Is Holy and Mighty: that's a given.
Your will to be done in earth and Heaven.
When Your Kingdom comes Mankind is saven (saved)
Give us each day our daily bread.
Forgive us for what we've done and said.
We need to forgive: no scores to settle
And keep us from temptation and evil.
You have the Kingdom and the Glory:
The Power to heal when we are sorry.
Amen.
