the rules 1. Respect all the other players, regardless of your personal feelings towards them. No one has to like or agree with everyone, but you do have to respect everyone and their status as a fellow player on this board.
2. Please always spell check and grammar check all of your posts. A few mistakes aren't the end of the world, but blatant mistakes or a copious amount of mistakes is ridiculous. Firefox has a built in spell check (which is one of many reasons that I love it and use it), and it's a simple matter of copy and paste to put it in MS word to check it over if you don't have firefox.
3. Be relatively active. If you're a horribly busy person who doesn't have much free time but you can still be somewhat active, we'd love to have you, but please don't pick a major character. Major characters and canons are expected to be very active.
4. No godmoding. If you're going to write your characters reactions as well as the character you're RPing with's reactions, you might as well RP with yourself. This also relates back to the respect of the other players. Respect the players and their characters.
5. We are an intermediate to advanced roleplay, and as a result, we expect decent grammar and spelling, and about 200 to 400 words per post, or two to three good quality paragraphs. This a advanced RP, the secret word is orange, and we hold the standards as such.
6. This is an R rated RPG, so pretty much anything goes, but please have a rating warning in the thread title.
7. Ask another character if they would like to RP with you before you tag them in a thread. A PM or question in the cbox will do, as will a thread in ooc area asking for an RP.
8. Keep the number of characters you have to a reasonable limit. Two or three canon characters per player, and please keep gender ratios in mind. We don't want to end up with more girls then boys, which is too often the problem in boards.
9. If you plan on killing, maiming, impregnating or otherwise doing massive permanent damage/changes to a character, please drop me a line, please. Oh, and this may seem a bit obvious, but indulge me, and let the character who is involved in the death/maiming, etc, plot know.
