MONIES
So we’re implementing a new system based on money! Exciting, right? Anyway, there are numerous ways to earn money including getting a job and actually going to it, making posts that equal or exceed a certain length and getting new members to join the board.
In Hambourne Heights, minimum wage is $8.25, so everyone (with the exception of servers) will be starting at at least that pay, depending on the type of job. No, there’s no list of jobs that have a higher minimum wage, but you can expect an email from me after applying for a job with your pay and your ‘hours.’ You will be expected to reply in 2/3 of threads in your job location, excluding threads that are closed or tagged for someone other than yourself.
Post lengths are fabulous when they’re 350+, but for those who like to strive to do the best they can, we’ll award a certain dollar amount for anyone whose posts are over 700 words. Yes, it may seem like a lot but it is completely doable. There will be a certain base, sort of like a minimum wage, and for those whose posts are extremely well written, creative and prompt lots of thought and insightful responses from the people they’re RPing with, they will get a bonus.
If you refer someone to Hambourne Heights, have them mention either your name name or your character name somewhere in their application. If they do not do this, you will not receive monies for your person. For every person you bring to the board, you will be awarded $5.00 standard and if the person is a fabulous RPer, we’ll award you some extra cash.
