a fresh start., new plot. new look.

alrighty, i know that everyone's just now settling into the site, but i am afraid there are a few changes to be made. new staff members will appointed at MY discretion ALONE, and i will be opening select few special positions to those who prove worthy of holding them.

also, the look of the site may be tweaked just a little bit, as will the forums. i will also be submitting a new site-wide plot, and there will be added subplots. the canon list, cell phone directory, and other sign-ups will have an even more specified format to use, and i will be placing a few tighter rules into rotation.

this site has been open for a little over a month now, and i think it's time we made it the best we can. as of now, anyone who can recruit at LEAST five new people to Hambourne Heights, once the new plot is up, will be pmed personally by myself with important information. also, anyone who can nab affiliates for HH will receive a pm as well.

even though i am on a supposed "vacation", i am working to make sure this site does not fail. i know i may not be the best administrator out there, but you all better know that i'm trying my damned hardest, for YOU guys. not for myself. the site is only a mirror image of its administrators, not to mention its members. lets make HH a good example. okay?

there will be added features, such as a money system, and a jukebox. i will be taking suggestions VIA PERSONAL MESSAGE ONLY as to what songs should be place into the jukebox. there will be no arguing about what songs are in it or not. remember: i get the final say.

also, even if you are NOT a staff member, if you see someone breaking our site rules, MENTION IT TO THEM! i do not want to be chasing people around this site. it honestly is not that hard to follow our rules and regs, guys and gals.

Hambourne Heights is now back ONLINE. although the administration is not done with it's updates, we are allowing incoming members. There have been a few changes to the way you register here at Hambourne Heights. From now on, any new member will require validation by MYSELF {amee} ALONE, before they can continue with the application process

eventually, Hambourne Heights will be undergoing its very first activity check. I know the site has only just opened, but i want it to be successful and go very far. Nonactive members will slow our progress, even though that sounds completely horrible.

also, members, please remember that the administration has put a lot of work into this site, and i need you all to keep it as neat, clean, and friendly as possible. Please don't spam in our cbox, and if you see people doing it, kindly remind them that there IS an advertising forum here at HH.

also, i will be adding a graphics contest section to the sidebar, and i will also be adding a graphics contest and shoppe forum in the next few days. i know that there are a few talented graphics artists here, and i'll like everyone to vote, give constructive criticism, and help those members improve. the winner of the contest will be displayed on the sidebar for the week they one, and also they will PM me {amee} with the theme for the next contest. this will be a weekly deal, so get cracking on those skills!

in addition to the graphics section on the sidebar, there will be a quote of the week, taken from a thread or character here on the board. it will be displayed on the sidebar like the rest of the awards and such, and will remain there. There will be a place to nominate quotes from your character and such, and every once in a while, one of the admins will pull a random quote. I will be listing the quote that have already won, so we will not have duplicate quotes. ever.

Everyone, please enjoy the new and improved Hambourne Heights. I'm sure in the future there will be another set of updates, but i will remind everyone when that time comes. For now, pick and choose wisely.
