Aww, poor Viggo Let's see...I've seen: A Walk On The Moon (though I saw it before I knew who Viggo was and was old enough to find him hot) A Perfect Murder Crimson Tide G.I. Jane (the beginning of it) Witness (another movie I saw before I knew Viggo was) LOTR Hidalgo I think that's it. My favorites though are LOTR and Hidalgo. He's amazing in both!

Im a fan of Viggo, not only as an actor. I think, firstly i love his poems and photographs. Then his act, but after Induan Runner <Sean Penn film> i started to admire Viggo as an actor so much. He made really amazing job. He is great, it was so difficoult performance, and he made it in the perect way. I have seen almost all of Viggos movie. I havent seen only - Ewangelia wg, Swietego Harege <the director, is from my country, Lech Majewski> - Passion of darkness moon
And thats all..;]

Hi! I am first and foremost a fan of Viggo as an actor, and a poet. I do like a lot of his pictures, though. But what resonates with me are stories being told, regardless of medium. That's why I like some of his books better then others. I feel they are like diaries, telling stories about the artist. As for his movies, I have slowly been able to watch quite a lot of them on VHS or DVD. Although I'm not overly enthusiastic about every one of his films, there are some pearls in between, in my opinion. I guess my taste in movies are a little awkward, because I haven't seen many other people talk about this; one of my favorites are actually Reflecting Skin. It is a strange movie, using very sparse effects to tell the story (sorry, I'm not very good in English). But it is easy to understand the "message", I think, which IMO is that if we don't communicate, take time to talk to each other, it makes us so vulnerable. It makes us "beautiful, but isolated islands in the big ocean" (this is an image used in the movie). Being isolated and keepng "secrets" makes us unprepared, and easy targets when desaster strikes, no matter how much we care for each other. We need to be open and sensetive to our surroundings and to people in general, and to those close to us in particular. Then we will be stronger. Together. Well, that is my experience from this movie anyway. I just wanted to tell. Sorry for my rambling. I'm not sure my rant made any sense, though Anyway I also love Indian Runner and A Walk on the Moon, and of course LOTR, amongst others. But Viggo always makes me believe in his characters, wether he is portraying the Devil, the Lover or the King. I am looking forward to the Cowboy. Ooopst. This post probably belongs in another thread, doesn't it?

I've seen Viggo in
LotR Hidalgo 28 Days A Perfect Murder A Walk On The Moon Psycho and some of Crimson Tide
Heh, when I like an actor in one movie, I go out of my way to see their other movies. I did the same with Johnny. I loved all the movies of Viggo's that I've seen, but mostly LotR, Hidalgo and 28 Days. Viggo is just amazing =)

He has an impressive body of work - 20 years worth of stuff! Some of it worked, some of it, well, every actor has things they'd rather not look back on. I was introduced to Viggo in Fellowship of the Ring, so I caught him at the high point in his career. I've seen Witness - he had only a bit part in that. Daniel Hockleitner's brother. Also, Young Guns II. He played one of Pat Garrett's posse members. Pretty good with a long rifle - and he does 'cowboy' so very well... Do you realize that John Fusco, Hidalgo's writer, also wrote the first Young Guns? That man writes a good story! I caught Walk on the Moon recently, along with 28 Days and A Perfect Murder. Not bad in places... I'm waiting for Indian Runner and American Yakuza. He's got lead roles in both, and, while rated R, they might provide some entertainment. Hidalgo is the best, as far as I'm concerned. He owned the role of Aragorn, but he really NAILS the part of Frank, Old West Cowboy! Let 'er buck! zee

28 Days was a good rent, humorous and piognant and sad. Vig did his part okay, nice to see him in the DVD commentary, adding his two cents' worth. TBS ran G.I.Jane last night with Demi Moore, and Vig playing the part of a Navy SEAL master sergeant. I will say he does look rather nice in dress whites. And you just knew that, after all the sh*t he gave her, she was gonna go right out and save his a$$ - but not before kickin' it! Got the DVDs for American Yakuza and Indian Runner last week. They both have their moments! Did a Viggo film fest all by myself this weekend - also caught Return of the King still playing in the local budget theater. whhhoooooHOOOOOOO! Lettin' 'er buck!! zee
