[Meagan]

With the twins having just woken from their daily nap, and were now happily playing on the floor, Cashlynn was sprawled out on the couch attempting to enjoy the cool climate of the house. She gave a gentle 'oomph' when she felt the babies shift inside of her, making a face and bringing her hand to her stomach as she felt one stretch.

Pregnant with twins, once again, she felt the fatigue of the pregnancy as her due date had already passed. However, with her stubborn character, she had managed to do everything that she normally would have - including manning the staff of the barn and the children of the house.

An irritated scream came from Ainsley that caused Cash to glance over at the girls and arch her brow. "Colette, give that back to her," she said with a sigh when Ainsley began to bawl. "You have your own, sweetie, give it back to her," Cash said, showing her where her own toy was at from where she was lying.

[Kira]

Jamie wished he could spend all day every day with Cashlynn, but he had to work. The horses were foaling, the lambs were getting older, and he had plenty to keep him busy. He had decided to end the day early today since most of the mares had already foaled. There were only one or two that he was worried about at this point.

Entering the house, he heard the crying and then his wife's voice. He was anxious, being that they were having twins...again...and they hadn't come yet. He swallowed and then stepped into the living room where Cash lay on the couch and the twin girls sat on the floor playing.

"Hello my lovely lasses. Are ye behaving for yer Mum?"

Cashlynn watched as the twins immediately abandoned their fussing when they heard the front door open, casting a quick glare in the direction of her husband-- despite the couch's back being between them-- for not coming in earlier. It seemed that as soon as he came around, they straightened up their act. She moved to push herself to sit up slowly, stifling a small yawn and looking down at the girls as they nodded enthusiastically to their father.

She narrowed her eyes at them for a moment before shaking her head and brushing her hand through her hair quickly. "Just the normal fussing, of course," she said with a smile towards her husband, letting her hand rest on the back of her neck. "Did the new foals do all right today?" she asked him, having not been able to get out to the barn to go and see their new additions.

Jamie looked at her and then at the girls, sighing as they ran off to play once more. He walked over to his wife and kissed her deeply, moving his hands to rest on her shoulders. He wished he could be home more with her, but he had work to do. He knew that she was going to give him grief about having so much to do when the new babies finally came. He lowered his head to lean against hers, but then stood up again.

"The new foals are doing great. All of them have stood and suckled. Cute bairns too. Just like ours." He winked and then kissed her again before moving into the kitchen. "What have ye been doing all day?" he asked her softly.

Cashlynn smiled as he came closer to her, listened to what he said about the foals that had been born within the last couple of days. "That is good to hear. At least they will not be having as rough of a start as some of the lambs did this year," she mentioned, glancing over to where the girls disappeared down the hallway into the playroom.

A smile played at the edge of her lips when he leaned down to her, kissing him back just as deeply as he kissed her. She watched him as he moved away from her and towards the kitchen, giving a gentle sigh and leaning against the back of the couch as shewatched him. "I have been reffing your two munchikins in between their naps. What else is new?" she asked him with a quirky smile.

She brushed her hand through her hair again, wetting her lips and nibbled down on her bottom lip. "Your maman should be up in a little while to take them for the evening," she mentioned to him, slowly pushing herself to stand-- something she had managed to perfect with both pregnancies.

Earlier on, they had decided that taking the twins to the hospital when she was ready to give birth would not be the best idea, and that towards the due date, the twins would go to stay with his parents so that the chaos would be kept to the minimum. Cash followed Jamie into the kitchen, reaching up into the cubbard and pulling a glass out to fill it with juice for herself.

Jamie heard the twins run down the hall to the playroom and looked over his shoulder at Cash, smiling as she said his mother would be down soon to get the girls. He looked outside while she got her juice, then wet his lips, leaning against the counter. He sipped his beer and then tilted his head. "Reffing the bairns? They canna be all that bad, can they?" he asked her. "Surely ye are jesting with me now. Ye see how good they are when I'm around." He winked at her. "Ye need an understanding with them, ye see?"

Cashlynn rolled her eyes softly when he mentioned needing to have an understanding with them, moving to the fridge and reaching for the grape juice. "I know what the problem is - they are too much like you, and it's you that I don't always understand," she mentioned, placing the container back inside and closing the fridge.

She bit down on her bottom lip gently as she raised her cup to her lips, feeling the twins shift inside of her again, before she finished raising her glass and took a slow sip from it. Cash brushed her hand through her hair, leaning her hip against the counter and letting one hand rest on her lower back. "I will be so glad when these two come.." she said softly, blowing out a soft sigh.

Jamie looked down at her as she spoke about not understanding him. He always thought it was the other way around - that he didn't understand her - but he wisely kept his mouth shut. When she mentioned the twins, he sighed and looked at her. "Could ye not have one of those c things? What are they called? I mean, ye are overdue, Cash. Surely they dinna want the bairns in there too much longer. Aye?" He sipped his beer again before he stepped over to her, wrapping his arms around her waist. "I'm anxious to meet the new bairns." He grinned.

Cashlynn Cashlynn reached up to brush a few strands of hair away from her face, giving a gentle sigh and looking up at him as he stepped closer to her. "A c-section, James," she mentioned with a soft laugh, "Not a c thing." Her head tiled back when he wrapped his arms around her, and she gave a soft smile as she leaned forward and brushed her lips against his lightly. "I'm supposed to go and see the doctors tomorrow morning at about 7," she mentioned to him, placing her glass on the counter.

"They have me doing some things to naturally bring on the labor; like walking and using the pump for stimulation, but they said if there was no change, then they would most likely want to re-evaluate and think about inducing labor," she mentioned to him, brushing her hands along the front of his shirt. "I am anxious, too," she said with a soft grin, kissing his lips again softly, "Because then your mother wouldn't be suggesting we head up to the bedroom every hour of the day to help the labor along," she teased.

Jamie looked at her and smiled, nodding softly. He knew she would know it and probably tease him about it, but he honestly couldn't remember what it was called. When she mentioned about going to the doctor's office tomorrow, he wet his lips. "I'll go with ye then. I can have someone cover for me. I should be there, aye?" He grinned and then kissed her lips softly again before looking around the kitchen and returning to her. "Tis true, but my mum has good advice. Do ye wanna lock the lassies in the playroom and nip upstairs for a quickie?" He grinned, teasing her right back.

Cashlynn smiled as he spoke about going with her, receiving his kiss with a soft grin of her own. "Good, because I might have had to throw a fit if you did not," she mentioned softly to him. She heard a soft squeal from the playroom where the twins had disappeared to, and she looked over in the direction of the hallway where she could see them making their way out.

"Lock them up, sure - quickie, ugh," she said with a laugh, having been known to be rather non-amorous when her due dates had approached. She brushed her hand through her hair slowly and wet her lips. "I think I hear your mother driving up. Why don't you round up your children and take them out to her so she won't have to get out?" she suggested with a smile.

Jamie laughed and shook his head when she refused the offer to lock the bairns into the playroom and go up for a quickie. He knew she would anyway. He heard the car outside as well and then nodded, heading out of the kitchen to get the girls ready. He packed their bags and then walked outside after putting their coats on, herding them like the dogs herded the sheep. He grinned and hollered to her that he would be back soon. After sending the twins off with their grandmum, he returned to the house. "So, now that they're gone ye want to go up for some loving?" he grinned.

Cashlynn shook her head slowly as he left the room to gather up the twins' things, realizing that within the next few days, another two children would be introduced into the household for an even larger family. She sighed, turning and moving around the kitchen to tidy up a bit and clean off the counters with a rag. She waved goodbye to the girls as Jamie was half-herding, half-pulling them out of the house while they fussed with each other.

She leaned against the counter she was standing next to, giving a wave out the window to her mother-in-law that was waiting in the car. Cash looked up as he went back into the kitchen, brushing a gentle kiss against his lips again. "I could use a nice backrub," she mentioned softly to him with a pout, letting her hands move to her lower back to give herself a bit of added support.

[Kira]

Jamie looked down at her as she put her hands to her lower back and rubbed. His own hands covered hers and slowly started to rub where she had been. He sighed and rested his head on top of hers. "Ye dinna need to worry yerself, love. Are ye sure ye are'na going into labor today?" he asked her, chuckling, but half serious. He didn't know what she felt inside. He hoped that if she thought it was labor that she would tell him. However, he walked her out of the kitchen back to the couch and sat her down so he could rub her softly and be comfortable too.

Cashlynn tilted her head sideways when he questioned her about going into labor that day. "Mmm, I do not think so," she answered with a soft and amused laugh, knowing that he was quite anxious for her to have the twins already. "At least not anytime within the next couple of hours," she mentioned softly to him.

She followed him to where he led her to the couch and sat down with his help to get comfortable. When he had settled on the couch with her, she positioned herself to where she was leaned back against him slightly, but to where there was enough distance between them so that he could continue to rub her back. "I love you, Jamie," she said softly to him, turning her head to where she could look up at him.

[Kira]

Jamie was anxious for the twins to come. He wanted to meet his new bairns and it was overdue. He grinned as she said she loved him and continued to rub her back, seeing how relaxed it was making her. He leaned in and kissed the back of her neck, still rubbing. He grinned again, his lips curving against her skin. "Are ye sure ye dinna want to go upstairs and try to start that labor?" he asked her with a mischievous look in his eye if she was looking at him still.

Cash heaved a gentle sigh as she felt him work his hands against the muscles of her back, relaxing quite a bit since she had been tense. A soft laugh came from her at his suggestion, opening her eyes and tilting her head to where she could look at him, "You are rather adament about that, aren't you?" she asked him with a laugh.

She pursed her lips together and then turned just slightly to brush her lips against his. "Mmm, but that would require moving and going up a flight of stairs," she teased him softly. Cash's hand moved along his chest, then down his stomach slowly with a smile as she pulled back to look at him.

[Kira]

Jamie smiled at her and brushed his lips against hers as well, his hands finding her waist and then her belly, massaging here a bit. He sighed. "Not adamant, my love, just male." He winked. "Ye know 'tis all I think about. Or ye should know by now." He chuckled softly and then kissed her neck again. "Would ye like some ice cream?" he asked, offering her something instead of sex. He knew if he kept badgering, she would finally relent, but she wouldn't enjoy it. She would, however, enjoy ice cream.

[Meagan]

Cash laughed as he declared himself male, shaking her head slowly and moving to where she was facing forward again. She closed her eyes as he moved his lips to her neck again. A smile came to her face when he asked her about a bowl of ice cream, giving a soft nod in answer to him. "That would be really nice," she answered him. "While you're getting that, I'm going to go and get comfortable with my big pillow upstairs," she said with a soft smile, speaking of her pregnancy pillow that supported her a bit more than a regular pillow would behind her back.

Jamie nodded and kissed her forehead as he stood up. "Alright, love. Be careful on the stairs, aye?" He then went into the kitchen to get her the ice cream and spooned it into a bowl. He heard her going upstairs and smiled to himself, humming a Scottish tune his mother had sung to him during his childhood. It stayed with him. After dishing out two bowls of ice cream, he put it away and took both bowls in hand, heading up the stairs. When he entered the room, he grinned and shook his head. "Mmm. I'm mighty hungry. I might just decide to eat both myself." He winked.

"I will," she promised him, knowing that it was one of his fears that she would somehow injure herself or the children. She took her time going up the stairs, and when she made it into the bedroom, she quickly changed into a more comfortable shirt and a pair of boxers. Cash pursed her lips, pulling back the covers on the bed and climbing in. She made herself comfortable against the pillows.

She looked up when he came in and gave a soft smile. "Now that would not be nice," she said with a soft pout to his speaking of eating both bowls of ice cream. "Besides, you have to be nice to me or else you might have to go solo later on," she told him with a teasing grin, reaching for the nearest bowl.

Jamie smiled at her and saw how cute she looked tucked into bed like she was. He smiled and handed her a bowl of ice cream with a spoon before setting his down on the nightstand. He stepped back so he could undress, not worrying about her seeing his semi-erection. She'd seen it before, obviously. "Aye? That wouldna be a good thing for me. I'm looking forward to having a partner." He grinned and then he climbed into bed as well, taking his bowl and starting to eat.

Cashlynn took the bowl from him, settling back into the pillows and taking a bite of the cool dessert. "Yes, it would not be a good thing for you," she said with a laugh. She brushed her hand through her hair quickly once she had finished eating her fair share of the ice cream, then turned and set the bowl on the counter again.

She looked up at the TV that she had turned on when she had entered the room, seeing that there was nothing very interesting on at the time. A gentle sigh came from her, and she looked over at Jamie with a soft smile. "Have you even thought of names for these two?" she questioned him with a soft smirk.

Jamie looked at her as she ate and then put the bowl up. He had finished before her, but that was normal. As she asked about names, he thought for a moment and then leaned over and kissed her forehead. "Aye, I like Jeremiah and Duncan. Do ye have yer own ideas?" he asked her, bringing his arm around her shoulders. He moved a bit closer to her, his other hand resting now on her large belly. It was exciting to be having another set of twins. He closed his eyes as he rested his head on the headboard.

Cash gave a soft smile as he mentioned Jeremiah and Duncan as names for the twins that they were anticipating at any time. She felt his hand settle on her stomach and turned her head towards him as he leaned it against the back of the headboard. "Mmm, I have not given it much thought. I just wanted to see if you had any other suggestions since the last time we had discussed it," she said with a soft smile.

She turned slightly to where she could rest her head against his shoulder, brushing her hand along his abdomen softly as she closed her eyes to just relax. "So, pops, do you think you are ready to handle another two so soon?" she questioned him softly.

[Kira]

Jamie grinned and nodded to her as she asked if he was ready to be father to two more so soon. He pulled her closer just a bit and then kissed her lips. After the long kiss, he looked into her eyes and sighed softly. "Aye, of course I am. I was made for being a father. Question is, love, are ye ready to be a mother again so soon?" he asked her, having a feeling that she was unsure, since she'd asked the question. He was genuinely curious about her answer. "Do ye think they'll have to take them by force or do ye think the bairns will decide on their own to come?"

Cashlynn pursed her lips for a moment as he turned her question around on her, giving a gentle shrug in response. "Well, it is a little too late to worry about it now," she mentioned, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear and looking up at him. "Am I ready? No, but then again, I do not think I will ever be fully ready," she said with a soft grin, leaning forward and letting her lips meet his once more.

She snuggled in against his side, raising her gown to reveal her stomach. She felt the boys readjust inside of her, and ran her hand along her belly gently. "The doctor is going to check tomorrow morning to see how everything is coming along.. he said he may have to induce if there is no change," she mentioned to him softly, "I'd like for them to come on their own, but either way, at least I'll be ready for that."

Jamie watched her as she exposed her belly to view. He held her close and rested a hand upon the belly, feeling the boys moving around inside of her. It always gave him a thrill to feel that and so he closed his eyes and imagined what they might be doing inside there. He grinned and opened those blue eyes of his to find her looking at him. "I love ye, Cash. Whatever happens tomorrow, we'll soon have our bairns to hold. I wonder how the lassies will take to having a couple of brothers around." He wet his lips and then kissed her forehead.

Cashlynn closed her eyes, as well, when he placed his hand on her stomach. After a moment, she turned her head to look at him again, a smile on her face as she reached up and ran a hand fondly through his hair. "Mmm, hopefully they will not be too jealous," she mentioned with a soft grin.

"But probably the way you felt when your maman had your sisters," she said with a smile, turning her head again to let her lips brush against his again. She turned slightly and let her hand move along his stomach and then brushed her fingers along his pelvis slowly. "I love you, too," she told him with a smile.

Jamie held onto her as her hand grazed his hip and he shook his head, his eyes looking at hers. "Dinna be doing that unless ye are gonna do something about it. Aye, I see that look in yer eye, lass. Ye have no intention of it. Come on, are ye sure ye are alright? I dinna want anything to happen to ye." He let out a soft sigh as he held her close to his body. He enjoyed being with her, but the fact of the matter was, he wanted her to have the bairns so he could 'be with' her again. The ice cream was gone and Jamie felt tired. He yawned and then kissed her before laying his head on his pillow.
