THE RULES. GENERAL/OOC.RESPECT is so good that it got turned into a song. How cool is that? So, please show respect to members and staff. We want the site to be friendly and welcoming, later developing into a community. We know that not everyone will get along but being civil and polite is all we really ask for. This site is supposed to be fun, y'know.
NO DISCRIMATION. We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind here. No racism, sexism, attacks on religion, etc. If you pull that stuff around here we will ban you. No hesitation. Come on guys lets just get along!
NO FIGHTING. If something comes up, please don't make it a site-wide event that you're just so eager to pull each other's hair out. The staff will step in and handle things to the best of their ability. Please don't throw more fuel into the fire and handle it privately instead of a full-on battle in the cbox or something.
ACTIVITY. We love it. Really, we do. We love activity more than we love food. Lie. My bad. Y'all get it though. Activity makes the site function so we would love it if you launch into some plotting and threading and regularly reply to stuff. We know that everyone has a life and that a reply a day isn't something we can demand but please stay as active as you can and perhaps drop us a little note if you'll be away for a certain period of time.
SPAMMING. We all get bored, but instead of spamming " HI " a million times on the c-box, post in the game board, apply to a plot board, plot, do whatever your heart fits thats are within the rules. That also includes spamming in any other fourm. Bored? There are plenty of other things that can keep your mind occupied.
CREDIT. If you use graphics, plot pages, etc. that you didn't make, please credit the person who originally made it. Ripping is so not cool.
RATING. We are primarily PG13 here but Mature or R rated content may be present and they will marked as such to notify others of its nature. If you're thread's rating is increasing, please PM an admin and they will mark it [M]. CHARACTERS.MARYSUE AND GARYSTU are going down. Don't make your character/s perfect for it's really the flaws that make things interesting. As for the other extreme, not everyone is depressed and suicidal either. If they are depressed, you better give them a damn good reason to be.
GENDER RATIO. Keep it even. If we have an overflow of oestrogen, we'll hold on the females. Roleplaying as a guy isn't all that bad. You should give it a try!
NAMES. When you apply please apply with a first middle AND last name. A good example of this would be jackson keith o'neil. Not JDAWG69 or JACKSON LOLZ or anything else. If you made a mistake, no worries! the admin will fix it for you.

APPLICATIONS. Make 'em good. Don't copy and past someone else's. Plagiarism is bad for the soul. Post in the right forum and wait for an admin to sort it out. If we post constructive criticism, don't eat us and follow what we wrote and you will get accepted! Do not post anywhere but the applications and advertising forum unless you've been accepted.
CHARACTER LIMIT. Maximum of ONE show canon. So that means you cannot rp as Dan, Nate and Vanessa. That's just not fair for everyone else. So, only one show canon for a person, but you can have as many made up canons as you want. However, if you have a female character you must play as a male for your next canon and so forth. Just to even things out.
PLAYBYS. Hokay.. Know that each of the canons are either assigned a playby or if it is noted to be possible to change/one of the randoms, this is where this rule comes in: NO SCENE/EMO KIDS. THE END. By the way, we used those pbs on purpose so that plotting will be easier BUT it doesn't mean that you're bound to them. Don't expect that just because the pbs ended up together, that each one can only be with that pb. Okay? Okay. POSTING.LENGTH. We are a literate site - intermediate-advanced. One-liners will be stabbed. Please post at least 3 healthy paragraphs. Having more content gives the people you're threading with more to work with and a better idea of your character. The staff browse threads so you know... when caught red-handed with a super-short reply, you might get a very nice PM that asks to make posts a tad better.
GRAMMAR/SPELLING. They are your friend. Ever heard of spell check or a Word Processor? It does wonders. It helps if you type up a post there so any spelling or grammar errors can be, more or less, picked up by the program.
THREADS. Tag your threads! If it's meant for someone, please indicate as such. Exercise common courtesy and respect the tags. Don't reply to a thread that wasn't meant for you!
OTHER.GRAPHICS. We love them. Every character must have some. Er, we'd like to keep the site pretty so please try not to make your graphics too big. If it streches the board, we will notify you. Oh, and no text overload on signatures, people. Also, if you're not that handy at graphic-making, requests can always be made either here or any graphics forum of your choosing. Just remember to credit.
CBOX. Tis fun, yeah? Heck yeah. Please be nice on the lovely cbox, loffs. There will be no advertising on it or linking to inappropriate material.
ADVERTISING. It only goes in one forum. No linking in the cbox or your signatures or any crap like that.
