I'd love to add some more pages to the Indie Travel Guide. If you fancy writing a guide to your hometown, please get in touch.

I'll do one for my home town.

TEIGNMOUTH

Teignmouth is the home town of Muse, classical music and sountrack genius Laura Rossi, Loft bassist Bill Prince, the creative genius behind Snowy and a crap pier.

You should start your exploration of Teignmouth at the railway station. From outside you will see the town in front of you. Now turn around and go back into the station. You can be in Exeter in 20 minutes, Bristol in about an hour and London in 2 and a half hours

Haven't added a new guide for AGES now. If there's anything you'd like to add to an existing guide, please let me know!

Be good to add some more guides. Please let me know if you'd like to write one!

I didn't even know about that! The town keeps that quiet, yet crows about Mooooooz. There's no shame or sense in that place.

I'd be happy to write some guides for a few places. For example, I'm just back from Amsterdam (is theer a guide for it already?0. Ian, drop me a line at pinup_nights@yahoo.co.uk if you'd like me to write one (I could do a decent Budapest one too).

Cheers

Regular bump for this. I enjoyed added the new guides at the start of the year.

Now that my chronic fatigue/M.E. issues seem to be easing off (though I did have that 6 hour nap on Saturday afternoon, I might not be *quite* there yet) I could probably add a bit to the Melbourne page over the next month or two.

Don't know if I could pull together enough for a whole Sydney page, but I might be able to at least get a few friends to toss in a few tidbits to add to my scant/out-of-date knowledge. Does anyone else on the board know anything about Sydney?

ian - March 15, 2010 11:09 PM (GMT)

That would be great, thanks Noosh!

Even just a start on the Sydney page would be great. I can add in some bits and pieces and then people can add to the page over time. That's usually how it works...

noosh - March 16, 2010 01:09 AM (GMT)
No worries. I'll see what I can remember about the place, and fire off a few emails. Will let you know.
