Title: Aquanautica Imperialis

Easy E - December 24, 2008 06:42 PM (GMT)
Greetings,

I am working on a project for the AmmoBunker Forum called Aquanautica Imperialis. It essentially deals with the water navies of the 40K universe. The ruleset is a kitbash of BFG, Man-O-War, and other stuff.

However, right now, it is mostly a nice block of text. I'm just looking for fun sketches and random art work of a nautical theme to spice it up.

I can't really offer any money or anything other than a link to your portfolio and an online acknowledgement. However, if the concept strike your fancy, feel free to post it up here and/or PM me.

You can learn more about it here: http://s3.zetaboards.com/The_Ammobunker/topic/7042966/1/

Anyway, thanks for anything you want to contribute.

Have you seen CEL's work over at the Anargo Sector?

Nice, thanks for the link.

I also saw something in the KWSG from StugMeister that got me into thinking about wet navies.

Edit: It's gone now because the KSWG has been resurrected. Yeah!

Hope that helps spur some ideas for water navy art...

I also started putting together the formatting of the ruleset. I have added a link to it so you can get a flavor of it.

Anyway, the formatting is desperately calling out for some 40K specific art. Right now, I have managed to find some "real" archival naval photos to use, but it is really calling out for some 40K specific stuff. I would especially appreciate something for the cover! I will of course give you full credit and a link to your portfolio on the title page/credits page.

Hey there, E. Still need an artist? I've found it easier to send people stuff now that I have a tablet and Photoshop.

Yes please. I'm staarting to get a few works from some other folks too.

You can see them in the Ammobunker thread.

Thanks.

Good good, I had some ideas for aquatic pieces. Some are more modern combat, and by that I mean modern by today's standards, but hey: it's aquatic, right? Anywho, off I am, cause I love my new graphics tablet! I'll likely 'ave a WIP up by... later today.
