So, this part of the forum seems dead, so I'll post some of the stuff I worked on lately- chaotic engines for example.
Inspired by Keith Thompson, this is the Hellwind - a nuclear plane fot the Lost and Damned armies. I think it's supposed to work kind of like a grot bomb, only bigger and with the ability of the pilot to try and catapult out of it. The idea is that during a nuclear bombardment, the load will actually maneuvre through the planetary defense sheild. here's the first lines: ![]() C&C welcome, but not expected. |

Great job sir - kind of a Chaos version of the Japanese Ohka piloted bomb.
The only thing that looks slight off to me is the fan for the engine - maybe it'd look sleaker and more evil-looking if the air-intake for the engines was slits following the curvature of the body? |

Thanks a lot) Yup, exactly the japanese bombs) I love ww2 Jap planes, actually, all aviation of that time, and thats to answer your proposition about the vents - I'm not going for an "evil" look (hey, it's renegades and rebels, they're the good guys lol) or a sleek futuristic one - nope, for a clearly ww2 one with a dieselpunk flavor, so these parts need to be kinda retro, I think. |

Ooh ooh, I loving this one k-u!!!
I've got Keith Thompson's 50 Robots and 50 Vehicles drawing books and absolutely love them. This is a beautiful homage to KT's Atomic Blossom. I think it could do with a tad more chaosification, though. Oh, and about the catapulting out theory... where to? I mean, a nuclear blast is quite big, right? So the pilot would have to eject quite early or be caught in the explosion... just a thought |

I'm really digging this fighter. I'm not getting the 40k 2.0 thing yet? Can anybody explain to me what it is?

I haven't had the time to fully get round to working 40k 2.0 what with university, moving house and attempting to find a job. With the board's other administrators having disappeared and no moderators, I haven't been able to work on the board as much as I would like.
As soon as I get a chance, I'll try to put some effort into the 40k 2.0 project. |
