Hi all-
I'm planning on doing some work with regards to an obscure Imperial weapon from the older editions of the game; the needle sniper rifle and needle pistol, which fired slivers of crystallized toxins that rode an armor-piercing laser to their target. However, while I know they're out there, (I've seen a couple of them -somewhere- or another) I can't seem to find any good pictures now that I'm looking for them! The one that most comes to mind is unfortunately only a half-remembered, hazy recollection that's just too vague to be a useful memory, and I'd like to have a decent reference with some detail to go by. If it helps at all, I vaguely remember this one lineart diagram of a needle pistol which was very tubular, with the gun looking like a medium-size techy cylinder with a sharply insweeping, tapered point/barrel that was much thinner than the rest of the cylinder. Thanks in advance, Daeger |

There are pictures of Needle weapons on page 138 of the Dark Heresy Warhammer 40000 Roleplay book. Your local game store probably has a copy.

The old Wargear book from 2nd edition 40K has very clear illustrations of all the weapons. You can probably pick up a copy on eBay for quite cheap.
