In honour of the incredible new release of Space Hulk, this week's WSG seeks to pay tribute to the game. (I've played it and found it very enjoyable indeed!)
I've still kept it quite generic in order to appeal to everyone. There are a few routes to take, and all are equally valid: - Terminators - Genestealers - The Hulk itself - The Blood Angels Perhaps your entry could take into account the cramped, close-quarter nature of the hulk... |

Ok here is my entry! I really liked this weeks theme, my favorite chapter has always been blood angels, and the new space hulk miniatures are awesome. This took me about five hours, mainly because i struggled getting the terminator right, they can be tricky to draw. Anyway, hope you guys like it, looking forward to seeing everyones entries.

Here's my try on a genestealer. ( I'm quite proud of this one since it was drawn during a lesson and without a reference

Definitely in time! I'm still fiddling with suggestions to rework the WSG time (I'll put up a thread soon, I think.)
I really like how your entry shows the size and scale of the hulk - the Imperial vessel alongside really shows a sense of scale. I also like how you manage to suggest so much with such a scratchy style. It brings to mind this picture by Paul Dainton. I'll be adding all the points shortly, guys. |

I really like your piece alastor.
Personally...sorry Schwager, you know I love your work...but I'm not convinced by this one. I blame the fact you had to little time... (disclaimer: I can't draw as good as 99.9% on this forum). |

The more I look at mine, the more I think, "I'm going to edit that fracking page out."
I hate it more and more. I should have just done a sketch. meh. -this is what happens when I don't do the proper research to get some good reference. if I was to pick my favorite this week, I'd have to go with Tiuku's - it has the most potential. Don't get me wrong, everyone's is better than mine this week, but of all of them, I'd like to see tiuku's more developed. |
