I was quite surprised at how many votes and positive comments my entry received, despite it's unfinished-ness. So thanks for that, too. The chances of seeing the artwork finished from it's current state are pretty slim, as I'm not really that happy with it myself. But maybe I'll start the painting again from scratch one day. Anyway, NING is the well deserved winner of the competition and he got my vote, too... after some long deliberation on my part. The overall impression was what won me over in the end. Well done, it's a really cool piece of artwork. There was plenty to like about Ophidicus's Dark Elves, too. Especially some really lovely details, like the spikes from the boarding plank sticking through the deck, etc. Well done you too! Thanks also to Commissar Molotov for getting it all underway in the first place. Hopefully there'll be few more entries for the next one... and hopefully I'll get my act together in time, too
