She is the slayer..." and for us this was Buffy Summers We all know how things were supposed to happen? Buffy would crush nearly endless enemies, vanquish immortal foes and discover what it meant to love with the destiny of a killer. We all know that Buffy faced the Master, a Goddess and the First Evil, but did she have to? Was Buffy Summers the one who was truly meant to face them? True she managed to win with the assistance of others and the magicks that gave her the calling, but why was Buffy the one to defeat them? Couldn�t another slayer have taken down the Master? Shouldn�t anyone who could lift the Hammer have been able to beat Glory into the hell from which she escaped? Couldn�t another slayer have found the Scythe and encouraged an all powerful witch to change the destinies of thousands? The answer is simple; no. Buffy Summers was more than just the girl in each generation to arise and attempt to stop evil. She was more than some simple creature made by some old men thousands of years ago. She broke their pattern, she learned to trust in others and go against what was put before her. Buffy Summers was the heroine we all know her as because she refused to be the lone wolf warrior those before her were. Buffy Anne Summers was the Savior we know her to be because she failed to abandon those around her. Now, what does this have to do with anything? Well, we propose to you a simple question; would you change it? Would you have made a difference, good or bad, in the Slayer�s future? Could you have stopped Glory? Would you have been able to break down the Initiative�s little project? Well, here�s what we have for you; a chance to try. Let�s rewind the tapes and bring ourselves to the beginning of the Second Season. Buffy Summers has vanquished the Master vampire and though the world owes her more than any will ever understand, we yet again come and beg for more. Something evil is rising from the Hellmouth, but what it is no one knows for sure. This is where you come in. We�ve given you the chance to make a stance in Sunnydale, be it a positive one or a negative one. Attend Sunnydale High, be a wicked vampire in the cemetery or be a dark force that no one is ready to deal with. Love the Slayer, Hate the Slayer, Replace the Slayer, or maybe Kill the Slayer. We�ve started anew and we�re giving you a choice; join up or hit the highway. Sunnydale is looking for something new, but what? She showed us how to survive something few could, but will you live through the infamousEMBRACE
