YOU WANT TO PLAY A CANON CHARACTER?

Welcome to the spiffy page that tells you who all the canon characters are. What exactly is a canon character, you ask? Well, it is a character that comes straight from the show/book/movie/etc. In this case, our canons come from the Buffy-verse, obviously. This list is by no means comprehensive. It will be updated as our plot moves and shakes about like Flubber.

Cannon characters are very important to the plot line, and thus have very strict rules. Basically, you DO NOT need to make an account. We’ve already made those for you. You CLAIM your character here, and we will give you the password for the account.

Let me repeat: You DO NOT need to make an account for a canon character.

Once you have received the password for your account, you have 4 days to finish and post your bio. After 4 days, if the bio is not posted/completed, you will lose the character. It’s a simple and clean cut as that, my dear good friends.

THE SLAYERS

elizabeth anne summers (buffy)

level four | seventeen

She is the Slayer. The Chosen One. When we left off in season one, Buffy was just starting to get a handle on being the Slayer. She’s faced her destiny and defeated the Master. However, she still has to deal with the everyday tribulations of life. She has friends, school, and an undead boyfriend. It's a lot to keep up with while you're spending your nights fighting the forces of evil. Along with defeating the Master, she also destroyed the Anointed One. Despite these victories, some people believe mixing Slayer duties and a social life isn't a good idea.

THE WATCHERS

rupert giles (the ripper)

level two | fourty-four

Rupert Giles is the stuffy, British librarian at Sunnydale High, and also the Watcher of the Chosen one. He has basic training in languages, demonology, Wicca, hand-to-hand combat, and weaponry among other things. After season one, he still has a volatile Slayer on his hands. Let the training, the headaches, and the researching of big, dusty tomes commence.

Travers is Head of the Watcher’s Council. He lives in England, but makes appearances in Sunnydale to be the pain in Buffy’s side as he thinks she has too much freedom as a Slayer. It is possible however that the Council might start taking a more active role in Sunnydale, and Travers would be an intricate part in that plan.

THE WICCANS

willow rosenberg

level one | seventeen

Quirky, geeky Willow hasn’t quite come out of her shell yet, but Wicca is helping her. She is currently blooming as a witch with teachers who both want her to go different ways.

jenny calendar

level three | thirty-two

Jenny is the technology teacher at Sunnydale High. She is, of course, tech savvy. Smart, pretty, and magical, Ms. Calendar is one saucy white witch. She knows about the Forces that go bump in the night, and despite her dislike for Giles’s old tomes, can be quite helpful if the situation calls for it.

amy madison

level two | seventeen

After a mix up with her mother and some pretty dark magic, it is clear that Amy is also a Wicca. However, with a background like hers, it is valid to have some suspicion of whether or not Amy also dabbles into the black arts. Still Amy is friends with the Scooby Gang, and she has the benefit out the doubt…for now.

THE VAMPIRES

angel (angelus)

level five | two hundred seventy-two

Angel is the only known vampire with a soul. After having a gypsy curse placed on him, he is a souled being unless he has a moment of complete happiness. He helps the side of the Light in anyway he can, and that includes romancing the Slayer.

spike (william the bloody)

level four | one hundred thirty-two

Spike would like to think of himself as the Big Bad. Without the Master in power, he rocks into Sunnydale with visions of power. However, there’s someone standing in his way, and it’s not his crazy girl friend. No, it’s the Slayer.

drusilla (dru)

level five | one hundred sixty-five

Drusilla was sired by Angelus, and she is Spike’s girlfriend. Her only character flaw besides being a blood thirsty vampire is her insanity. She talks to dolls, hears the stars sing, and willingly kisses someone who calls himself the “Big Bad”. She is definitely a bad ass vampire.

mr. trick

level three | ninety-four

Trick works for the Mayor. He is one of the reasons Buffy’s slayer senses tingle. He has devious plans and a blood thirst just like every other vampire Buffy has ever faced. The difference with Trick? He’s got friends in high places.

THE WEREWOLVES

daniel osbourne

level three | seventeen

Oz plays in the band “Dingoes Ate My Baby”. Despite the rocker image, Oz is quiet. He is unassuming and actually rather gentle. However, Oz has a secret. He howls at the moon. That is, if you believe those superstitions about werewolves.

THE DEMONS

anya jenkins (anyanka)

level five | one thousand one hundred thirty-nine

Anya is a vengeance demon masquerading as a high school student. She specializes in punishing men for wronging women. You say ‘I wish…’ then she says ‘Granted.’

d'hoffryn

level nine | unknown

D’Hoffryn is the head honcho of vengeance demons. He brought Anya into the fold many years ago. This demon may have a scraggly beard, but he also brings a new and sinister meaning to be careful what you wish for.

richard wilkins

level one | two hundred thirty-two

Wilkins is Sunnydale’s mayor. He’s friendly, charitable, good looking, and demonic. His sinister plans probably won’t do Sunnydale any good, but at least he’ll have a smile on while he’s carrying them out. We always knew dentists were good for something.

THE HUMANS

alexander harris (xander)

level one | seventeen

Xander is the goofball of the Scoobies. He’s the only member of the group who does not have a job or a calling. However, he and Willow have been good friends for a very long time, and he and Buffy are very close. In fact, Xander wishes, in vain, that he and Buffy were closer. In season one, he (and Angel) helped save Buffy from death by the master’s hands. Xander may be human, but he is far from useless.

cordelia chase (cordy)

level zero | seventeen

Cordelia is the Queen Bee of Sunnydale High School. She’s rich, beautiful, and bitchy. While she isn’t in the know, Buffy and her “freaky friends” have saved Cordelia on occasion and regretted it later. Cordelia is shallow and usually quite cruel. There’s some doubt on whether or not she actually possesses a heart.

joyce summers

level zero | fourty-five

Joyce Summers is the mother of the Chosen One. She, however, is so far out of the know, she isn’t even on the Christmas card list. Despite her lack of knowledge, she does her best as a single mom even though Buffy’s nightly obligations often put them at mother-daughter odds.

harmony kendall

level zero | seventeen

Harmony is a follower of Cordelia Chase. She is blonde and what most people describe as dumb. However, the girl has got some attitude.

jonathan levinson

level one | seventeen

Jonathan is the uber geek of Sunnydale High School. Though he seems to have a hidden potential in magickal arts, he’s never employed them beyond helping Amy Madison in a rather complicated spell to remove her mother’s memories. The spell failed, but only because Amy backed out just before it was finished.

principal snyder

level zero | fifty-two

Snyder is the Principal of Sunnydale High School after being moved up from Vice Principal when his predecessor was eaten by the Pack. He has a nose for trouble, so to speak, and trouble come sin the form of one Buffy Summers. He snoops around trying to find any way he can to get the poor Slayer expelled.
