Akhenaton GW show intention to do a new race for 4th edition?
Got this little titbit from Dakkadakka.
It seems GW are promoting their new store in Japan, possibly trying to drive up sales in the asian markets. Part of the promo was the following poster which highlighted the major races of 40 K.
Included however was a question mark which is apparently to indicate a future race that will be added complete with new stand alone codex. The poster also indicated that the Tau would get two ally races not just the Vespids.
Intresting is that the poster does serve to allay suspicions over the DE getting the chop. |
So my Grand Tournament friend* where right after all. Just last year Heat 2 there was talk of a new race due in 2 year from then, well it been a year & where starting to get hint.
But I would say don't get your hope up as it might be Deathwatch... nothing wrong.
But felt I should bring this news to let you lot know of a new farce that maybe seen on our tables with in the new few years.

* Basicly that the senimer at Heat 2, my friend told me there would be a new race this was a year ago. Now there was very little info & nothing had been done, it was merly plans for a new race. But seeing the ? make you think.
If there is a new race then I'm happy as end of the day it mean a new blood to spill & a new challege to find there strength & weakness. So I look forward to this new army, hell if there good models & rule wise I might start them :D
Hmmm interesting possibilities... hope it is a completely new race. :thumb:
Well there are always rumours of new races, and always new ideas, it just depends if they ever come to fruition. It's highly possible, but it's just be another overpowered army to add to the pile.
Word is there defo is going to be a new race. Thought I'm not told when there due out, as they got to get throught Orks & Eldar first so as said your looking around next year.

Next year? Not bloody likely! They'd have to rehire legends like Space and Andy C and the late, great Pete Haines to get anywhere near that. Make that 2007 at the earliest.
