Ok, here are the rules.

Entries must be a single HQ model.

Entries must be game legal.

You will need to send in 1 WIP photo if you plan on entering the Conversion side of the contest.

All entries must have 1 Painted photo.

All entries must be PMmed to myself by Christmas Eve (24th December).

The voting will be done via a public poll posted on the 26th December, one for the Conversion, one for Paint Scheme and one for Originality.

All Forces of Disorder armies are eligable.

Staff members are allowed to enter (but I won't!)

Fluff/background can be included, but it will not affect your entry, wait for the fluff competition for that!

Fluff competition eh? Sounds like something I will definately be entering. I think I'll be entering the model of myself, as he's quite heavily converted. Only problem is he seems to HATE cameras, they are never in a functioning state whenever he's presentable. Right now he's still bare metal from when I stripped his paint off a few months back, ready to recieve my new colour scheme. Considering how lazy I am at painting, re-painting my army has been an extremely drawn-out process, especially when I keep getting distracted with new IW conversions.

I have a suggestion, why not two competitions held at the same time, one for a HQ model, the other an 'open IW' competition, that allows any Iron Warriors themed model as an entry, with judging on painting and converting as the HQ comp. The painting side could be judging on who can create the most asthetically pleasing IW scheme.

Sounds good, but maybe as a future competition, I'd planning to have regular competitions now!

Do you want both WIP and painted Photos at the same time and is more than 1 photo of each allowed?

Yeah, I vote that there be 2 WiP photos, as it's hard to show the extent of a conversion with just one picture. I advise other entrants to find a particular angle that emphasises the model's pose, and focus your painting around looking good from that angle. That way you only need one painted photo.

Yes, good point. Send me as many photos as you can, but they don't have to be all at once, whatever I get by the 24th December will be used. But only 1 WIP and 1 Painted one will be shown.

Is posting pictures on a website suitable? (Or would you rather have a photobucket link?)

A link to a site with it on, but try not to post them on this site. I'll just save them on my pc, also helps when it comes to making the winner's banner :thumb:

Thats what I meant :D I link to my site because I can put more detail up there. Is an IG Heroic Senior Officer (A mutated Tau Battlesuit) who leads a Traitor force acceptable as an army of dissorder? (Mine will in fact be very orderly as demons tend to give their petty minions pretty short shrift!)

Well my Lord is now 'almost' fully built but I can't prime him yet because I haven't taken a WIP photo! It looks like I'm going to have to wait weeks before I can start painting him! I suppose I'll just have to find something else to convert to pass the time...

I've finished, done to my best abilities, all that is needed tomorrow is a photo of the finished mini :D

Make sure that you post it soon! Not that I'd nick any ideas of course... Just so that I know if it's even worth entering! :D Mine is very, very, very nearly built but the base still needs a little attention and the weapon's shaft needs some more GS. Then I have to wait until I can get hold of a camera before I start painting... :o :( :angry:

Aye, I'm in this competition. I probably won't win the painting side of the comp, but I'm cautiously optimistic about my chances with the conversion comp.

Can I enter Johannes' model for him? He's my German exchange student but he doesn't have access to the internet. I've still got some pics of it (Alas not WIP!) and I'm pretty sure he's got an account here. Osamabinfladen or something silly like that... That would put it up to five...

Try not to, the competition's on painting and cnversion, and if the alterations to the image effect the model, then no.

Guys, one month untill entries must be in! Otherwise you will NOT be entered!

Well I'm spraying him tomorrow (Really this time!) so painitng should start this weekend. He's even had his first battle and performed admirably:

His kill count so far
- 3 Destroyers
- 7 Necron Warriors
- 5 Immortals (All that was left...)
- Part of a final charge with 4 termies and the lord... (pretty predictable outcome!)
