Well I'd like to say sorry for not getting there sooner & thanks for waiting.

Basicly this topic more to say, right now I am having some inter-net problems. The deal is tiscalie though it be wise to have a update, that was a week from Fri there. It causeing all sort of problems, from waiting 30 mins to FUVE hours for the inter net to conect.

So sorry for any dely & I will try get to these topic as soon as, however seen they have been taken care off :D I have banned the memeber for the usely being f*** heads.

Thanks for fighting the good fight! These spammer scum don't understand that this is a family site dedicated to gaming and 40K; they need to peddle their filth elsewhere.

Too bad the spammers who advertise cheap, legit 40k and warhammer minis, kits and bitz haven't found our board B) :lol:

Well I got a new modem a few days ago & also got my lap top from the college.

On that note, yesterday saw our 36th Spammer banned <_< from the site

dunno how bad it is here, seen another forum with a 150 spams and only 1 mod.... its becomming a pain in the @r$€

is there no way too add a question in that only IW's would ken... and that after answering... only then that they can join? :P

We have had 35 spammer who have been banned since Oct time, that been 3 months. 1 memember banned for being a git toward other memebers but that a diffrent story all together.

Some of them have been banned before they even posted. This is due to, any dodgy name I see on the memeber list.

It we all seen the porn spam it happen, all them have had that the end there e-mail address "inmail24" so any memeber I see with this will be banned with out notice. Due to ever single person that has join with that e-mail address so far post the porn. This is a family site & there will be no 18+ stuff here.

Also othe being *name*_*name*19xx (xx is any number) exsample:

harriet_corbit1946
william_armstrong1977
alex_ashenfelt1939

These type of spammer, make a topic & then rely on 4-7 diffrent topic. So names like that as in *name*_*name*19.... & of course have same e-mail address get banned right away.

It is a shame when a site is over taken by spammer as B&C now doing somthing as they been getting a few amount of spammer right now

Will be banned on sight. I will not wait until they post spam to banned them, rather be safe than sorry that the end of the day.

I have been talking to other fourm or if I see a memeber there who also here that have spam get banned right away.

Just right now spamming seem to became worst for 40k fourm since Oct time IMO & it not going get any better. So you may want to tell Admin of other site to watch out & keep a good eye out.

You could probably recruit a few more moderators to help with the increase of spam. Of course there is the problem of 'watching the watchers', but I'm sure there's some long-time members here who can be trusted.

Well, we do need more staff. I think me and IP are the only ones still active. But what we need more are new genuine members. Not stupid spam :bionic

I am a mod on a dutch forum, they have been flooded with spam bots, which can be a real pest. look up the spammers on google, the buggers that do my nut in have 21 other sites in their filthy wee mits

One forum I'm on asked a simple question to register, but bots can't answer it. I think it was 'Are you Human?' they even tell you it's an anti-bot question.

Right we should hopeful not worry about the spammer to much. We may get the odd one from time to time.

After looking through the admin CP & seeing what, what. All those who have spam like:

There e-mail address has been enter in the ban setting area. As you seen so far we had no more porn topic (well from what I seen by the inmail24DOTcom lot people)

All memeber who have spam get there topic deleted, banned right away & I've as asid check there e-mail, if fake then they will be put on the spam setting.

As for Mods, as said still trying to get use to the admin CP.

Yep tell me about it. More so when my computer was not working due to that update & just waiting.

So 42 memeber banned for spamming & one who banned twice for being a git & then re-join <_<

That would be good if we could get this.

All I can say is that people please report spam topic as this help out myself & other mods to get ride of it asap. In the main time all I can do is kee checking the memeber list from time to time & any names that look dogy, well I check out there detail on the admin CP & if e-mail address is bulls*** then bye bye spaming git.

Just to let you lot know, as of today (just there) the e-mail address

Is now banned from this site due to, to many spammer are useing this address & it wired because we have one memember/person with this who is not a spammer. Yet the rest all are??

But the following e-mail address has now been banned due to there more spammer comeing in by this way (around 8+).

So if people are thinking of join (real memeber & not sh*t spam bots) & have this address, then suggest you get another e-mail address.
