I just fell in love (what a nerdy thing to say in this context, but still)
Pre-heresy assault squadheresy armoured assault squad
LordAsgul - May 25, 2011 09:38 PM (GMT)
I have to say I've always liked the MkII Crusade Armour, I might get them for a raptor squad. :D
hushrong - May 26, 2011 12:07 AM (GMT)
I want.
The MK V dual chainsword guy knows his stuff ^_^
Loki - May 26, 2011 06:25 AM (GMT)
Those Pre-heresy jump packs are pure eyecandy! allthough I would have liked them more on sweetness that is the Mk. III "Iron" power armour.. -And YOU'RE talking about being nerdy in context, King? :P-
KingOfFools - May 26, 2011 06:35 PM (GMT)
I think the heavy Iron Armour is not designed for flying.
Loki - May 31, 2011 08:19 AM (GMT)
So is the A-10, but they never had the heart to tell it that it was a flying tank.. ^_^
And technically, Jump Packs aren't meant for flying.. they're meant for controlled crash landings.. or extended leaps.. I think..
KingOfFools - May 31, 2011 10:24 AM (GMT)
it was a poor choice of the term on my side.

For some reason, I have an image of an Assault marine propelling himself skyward only to cut the power, tuck his legs close to his torso, warp his arms around his shins, and cannonball into an enemy formation...

Ork StormBoyz have perfectioned this tactic by strapping huge rocket-propelled warheads to their backs and hitch a ride on the rocket pylons of a Fighta-Bomma and race towards the surface in such a speed a Speed Freak would be jealous. Off course, those who survive, will get a bucketload of "crumpin'" ^_^

Orks...the Evil Kenevils of 40k.
---
All of these new armor MKs look great, except one has 'skinny jean'-styled legs...all we need now is for FW to produce some IW shoulder pads...
KingOfFools - July 1, 2011 06:10 PM (GMT)
You HAVE to look at this.
LINKAnother almost orgasmic experience awaits.
If you look at the rules, it is CSM codex legal.
Loki - July 2, 2011 07:18 AM (GMT)
Hmm... Pre-Heresy Dreadnought goodiness.. not too fond of the Gundam-esque legs and awkward lascannon arm, but still, juicy..
hushrong - July 6, 2011 06:14 PM (GMT)
It does look awfully sweet. I also agree with the dislike for the legs. It isn't terrible but the legs do not resemble the art work for PH dreads.
I really want one of these....

king i want one!! no i want five so one can kill smurfs and four cant point fingers and scream :pwned !!!!
Ulfast - March 23, 2012 07:45 AM (GMT)
Yes, that one has some intersting rules and looks very nice. I donīt know if I should buy one of this or a IW dread. Both are really cool.
Khargoth - March 23, 2012 12:48 PM (GMT)
Decimator wins hands-down. Give it a pair of Butcher Cannons and unleash hell
Ulfast - March 23, 2012 06:30 PM (GMT)
What I like also is that itīs new and diffrent. That always spice the gaming up a bit :)
jesseye - March 23, 2012 08:23 PM (GMT)
and its so intimidating!! chaos should be more than a spiky marine or a new dread with spikes.
