Flashes of yellow and black leapt from between two abandoned dwellings, and Joelle was dying, down on her knees and vainly attempting to stop her guts from spilling out over the rocky ground. Kellan had managed to fire a shot, the only one of their squad able to even raise his weapon, but it hadn’t done any good.

A fist punched him through the air and left him sitting with his back to the wall of an empty domicile with his breath coming in painful, rasping gurgles. Like everyone in the Calth Defence Auxilia he’d received training from the medicae. Not much, but enough to know that several of his ribs were broken and that at least one of his lungs was punctured.
The beast had killed them all, and he’d watched the whole thing.

We do not approve the Half-Breed as a true Iron Warrior.. thus shall his name not be uttered, nor shall his deeds be acknowledged. He's a disgrace that by sheer luck and freak circumstances became a Warsmith. <_<

I like the guy. Kind of how you are supposed to like your relatives but secretly dislike them at the same time.

He's still an Iron Warrior, although a half-breed, and was not terrible in my opinion. I've enjoyed his character as I really liked him in Storm of Iron and its hard for me to start hating him. So since he is an Iron Warrior and has had a pretty interesting story I like him.

The thing I do not like is that he leads a mixed force of heretics and freaks. He isn't a 'pure' Warsmith because he leads a UN of Evil where his Iron Warriors make up only a fraction of his combined force. I have come to understand/believe that this the case so every story about him and his forces isn't constantly based on siege warfare...but I just don't like that he isn't leading a Grand Company.

a UN of Evil? wow hes now a cheap comic book super hero or perhaps a james bond villain lol. the more i think bout things, what do you think the chances are that he will get a mention in the new codex? i prefer him as a pre-warsmith character. take him in tactical squads instead of leading your whole army.

Honsou might be mentioned in the codex fluff. He's really the only Iron Warrior whose story spans through several books that I'm aware of. As being a choice in an army, he would be kind of cool if he was one of those "for X points, your champion can be upgraded to Honsou" in a squad of Iron Warriors. Or something similar. However, I'm sure a better character could be made up for that position.

I wouldn't like him as a Warsmith either, for my earlier reason of the kind of force he now leads. Although...they could base it on his time from after Storm of Iron to the end of Black Sky, Dead Sun when he was an Warsmith of a purely Iron Warrior Grand Cmpany.

to me honsou would be more suited to be a champion of a warsmith or a captian of part of his grand company like he was in storm of iron since he couldnt really control the whole grand company. Then again i dont blame him, a deamon prince wanted to take a half of his force and theres nothing to do about that.

ive never been able to get any but the first book. off the record ive never been a fan of premade characters. part f the hobby in my oppinion is the creation of your own and i miss all the options once available that made it possiable to create your own. that being said if they include him as a character then i think it should be him and his old squad bought as a special troop choice. kinda in the vein of the old last chancers. an iw squad with some real feel. like they infiltrate and perhaps carry some special gear but other iw squads have animosity towards them. for instance all other sqauds roll on a special chart. chart ranges from unafected for most roles, the old we cant let him show us up where the unit that roles it gets like +1 to hit and wound rolls for that turn only and one where they fire there weapons at the poor unit. personnaly i think it would be fun as crap. plus iw as whole should have hatred towards imperialfists as a general rule.
