Title: Conversion Competition - Spring 2012

Name of Contest: Spring Conversion Competition
Criteria of Contest: Convert one Aspiring Champion in power armour. Let your imagination run wild, as long as the model is game legal (weapons chosen from Codex: Chaos Space Marines). Send one image to Contest Host of entry.

Deadline: 1st June 2012
Notes: Only one entry per username. Staff are allowed to enter.
Prize: A place in the Hall of Eternals, and either a custom banner (for signature) or custom User Title.

Well there is some time, and as it's a Conversion Competition, it doesn't need to be painted.

For this one competition, yes, it does have to be an Iron Warrior. A future ones, however, might not be.

My problem is I do not have any spare bitz, bodies, etc. I can give it a try but I highly doubt I can make one with what little I have left.

hold on an artillery shell... just came to wonder.. is it possible to put the SAME model in both spring competitions? :huh:

Technically, no. The Conversion is for an Aspiring Champion, the Painting is for a standard Iron Warrior.

For those that are worried, future contests will be much more varied, and not always run by me...

So I think I stated this in the shoutbox...but I could be delusional, anyways I have a question about what I can contribute to this contest.
I have built/converted up a mini that will be used as Kharn for the moment but whose future shall be that of a skull champ once I get a DP mini. Even without a DP, he will still be used as a champ when we get the new dex (going off presumptions of whats going to be in that codex).
I am wondering if this mini would be acceptable or if I'm stretching the requirements.

Well, that just means it's an Aspiring Champion with Power Weapon, Plasma Pistol and Icon of Khorne :thumb: Which means, totally fine!
