Whoa odd results, didn't think I would be serving the favored one. I just chose him because he likes scaring people and he has people messing around in his head, gave me a reason to have deep dark blue shinning necrons.

The Nightbringer and the Deceiver must not be very popular gods.

I rule all... serve me well

Nightbringer, this is a fantasy game, you are not a star god or a leader of millions of Necrontyr, so please stop with these kinds of posts.

Thanks

The Management

Actually i chose create my own. I like to be unique. I used the deciever and put wraith claws on him. It doesnt look silly really it looks like a beast! I call him The Forgotten Disciple of the Stars. He is a dark brown. His weapons have blood and stuff on him. Yea, thats about it.. His name is Mal 'kar

The Deciever is by far the most useful tactically, the Nightbringer is just overkill and rarely makes its points back.

Nightbringer has to be the one to use! He's been in my army for ages and only died once. He was killed by... Necron Warriors!!!

I'd lent my friend some of my Necrons because he'd forgotten his stuff and the warriors took down Nightbringer 'cos they were rapid firing and could wound him on 6 with their Gauss Flayers.

He's the ultimate Character-killer, though. With 6 attacks on the charge, a lascannon shot beforehand, S 10 and no saves of any kind, Nothing lives. Not even bionics can save you ohmy.gif

5 wounds and a 4+ save/inv. save he's also hard to kill. Especially as you NEED S 5 at least to even hurt him. Charging Marines is so fun as they can't do anything. You can just take your time and kill about 4 at a time...

Nighty is only good for killing the deceiver, orks, and daemon princes.

El Deceivo is the best c'tan to field to support your army. Grand Illusion and Mis-direct can win the battle over and over again. He is the same as nighty statwise goes for the intended purpose, unless of course u face a dp or orks. El Deceivo is a surgical tool used to extract what is threatening in an opponents army, while the warriors mop up the rest.

I don't even field the Deceiver unless someone is asking for it, he is too powerfull, and others cry cheese.

yeah the deciever is much better than the nightbringer due to it's special skills, furthermore, it's 60 points cheaper which means 3 more warriors and a lesser risk for phase-out looses

Voted Void Dragon cuz I love the fluff I found somewhere on a necron site. If I started necrons would definately follow the void dragon!
