Hi folks, i have been lurking round here for a while and decided i had better post to say i was here.
Basically i have been playing 40k since 1990 mostly with space wolves but i decided i wanted to make an army that was based purely on looks so i chose Iron Warriors and im now at about 1750 points roughly. So about me i guess, 31 scottish with a taste for vodka and strippers usually at the same time, if any of you have ever listend to either the 40kforoldmen or 6s2hit podcasts i have been on a couple. Welcome,
I don't see people often who like Iron Warriors for their looks. Some of that depends on the quality of the paint job of course, but it seamed that in the past people made an IW army simply because they allowed for a strong build. Like Space Wolves and Grey Knight seem to be now. As for me, I read their backstory and it felt just right. I will check out those podcasts, 40kforoldmen sounds intriguing. -------------------- shattered hopes and stolen dreams and no one left to blame

The podcast was called 40kforoldmen but to better represent the mix of games it got renamed to 6s2hit and theres only a couple of podcasts out one of which is all about me and the d6 chaps

to be honest man im just a redneck from tennessee, i really have no idea what a podcast is, man i dont even use face book!!! but all the same great to meet you. from what i hear this place used to boom with people, hopefully it will again soon. im posting signs up that say yard sale and free hotdogs..... if your southern youd understand lol
