Loki's right, up to 4 can be upgraded weapon wise. Also, moving this to the Valleys of Chaos section, for general Chaos, Legio IV is for Iron Warriors only

You can take one heavy/special weapon; in addition to that you can take up to four special or close combat weapons.

Dang, Khargoth's right on spot there.. you can take 5 special weapons (includes Flamer, Melta-, Plasmagun), or 4 power weapons (includes Lightning claws & Power fists).
