My Iron Warriors Warband would be proud to march to war with yours. They are awesome!

The Iron Warriors 5th Grand Company (The Titans Slayers) will now be attend Throne of Skulls October in Warhammer World.

So new bits will be
- See if "rumour" codex Chaos is release in Aug
- Replace Power Axe on Terminators for Power Mauls as I feel +2S will help a little more when deal with Dreadnought. But Power Axe will stay on the Champion of my normal Chaos Marine units.
- Need to make a Relic theme Object marker for the 6x Mission & the Relic mission. Unsure what I want to do for this right now.

There a few new Iron Warriors conversion on the way as well due to new idea. But as said also waiting to see what Aug will bring us.

Wow!! Those are fantastic!!!

I especially like the use of tank treads for the loincloths. You must realy hate the Templars.

Armour Plate - Thanks, there from the Ork Nobz set. I though would suit the Iron Warriors with the seige & trench warfare, also see the Chaos Marine art work in the wargear area it talk about useing extra armour plates.

Templars - Far from it, Templars are among my top three favrout armies. Iron Warriors, Space Wolves & Templars are my main armies.
Rememeber Templars are son's of Dorn. I pick them over the Imperial Fist, as I already have yellow as my spot colour, having a solid bold colour this case being Imperial Fist & there yellow power armour. That in my view would draw the attesion away from my Iron Warriors.

As said there I got yellow as my spot colour to dry people attesion to the army & further look into the conversion. Lot of people comment about the detail like the trophies & icon to rep armies I fought over the ten years. Why not Crimson Fist - I think they have a hard enough time fire that there own battle brother during a Ork Invasion with out any further insult to injury

But as said Templars are part my top three armies & if a new codex was release & same apply with Chaos & SW I will more than happily collect the force on the spot. Right now I wait for the new codex chaos which will see me add lot more to my IW & start Night Lords after reading ADB Night Lord novels

With the release of 6th ed, some of the mission are more object base than ever before. While I have my Templars object marker, I though be cool to make another object marker for Relic & to help out with the mission where we had 6x Object on the gaming table

Edit - Sort out the object marker photo once photobucket stop being the bane of my life

I wanted to go for a Daemonic sword in a sword in the stone type thing. Where only the strong & faithful (to the chaos gods cause) can carry this Daemonic sword. The Ultramarine just a scarifice use to seal the sword into the stone & also to wind up a few friends who collect Ultramarines

Also I recently converted some new Iron Warriors models after seen WD 291 which has Index Astarties on Techmarines & a really cool art work



Both models, for Squad 1- Iupatus Proeliator. One of the right cover in blood is for squad 3 - Apocalypse







I got my FW order during the weekend there with the Tech-priest & the brass etch bard-wire (sp), though be cool to have one of the trophies with the brass etch around it & hopeful it will help teach people to stop pick up my models with out my permission......

Just converted up a brand new Terminators today. More due to new idea more than anything else & to replace one of the models. Also to add some trophies base on recent games in 6th ed.

Should hopeful have WIP photos later tonight as current got a lot of stuff to paint from commission work to my own models

Been a little while since I have updated this topi.

Today though out the UK, ever store was holding the Armies on Parade where the winner from each store would end up taken there army & display board down to Games Day which is in two weeks time. I really like the idea of Armies on Parade & fully support this, as end of the day it all about seen some cool armies & getting idea for our own models. As state in the past I rather seen cool armies with lot of conversions & nice paint work rather than people moan about the hobby.
Also for me since Armies on Parade started in UK that least last year. It allowed me to use skills I learnt from my college course back in 2005 to 2008, which was NQ to HND model making. I took part in the course so I could use the skills from the course along with my hobby & the AoP display board allowed that chance, as well as why I got the plasticard/styrene icons & extra armour on my Rhinos.

So today my local GW store saw a lot of great entry for Armies on Parade. It was really cool seen eash army & there display board & how they give a sort of image/story of the army & what they where doing if that make sense. It was really close on the votes as well. But my Iron Warriors mange to just make there way by a few votes & will be going down to Games Day. It also why not much has been posted as a lot of my hobby time was focuse on building the board & just this last week has been spent painting my own Armies on Parade board

New Melta arm model for Squad 3, the unit that is slow going down that path of Khorne & the heavy blood splatter (inspired by the Space Marine computer game)



Then the brand new Chaos Lord from the new Warhammer 40,000 box game - Dark Vengance. Purely because he is a brillaint model to paint
