'galore uptown known to most as the fashion district in arbor hill, it caters to a very select few in this part of town: mainly the fashionable, rich, and beautiful. from high-end designer boutiques to chic lounges and studios for those who make a pretty penny making waves in the industry, if you've got the funds, then this would be a good place to hang your thousand-dollar hat. models, designers, fashion photographers, and the like all flood here to get in on what's 'now'...because being what's 'then' is only retro-vintage in fifteen more years, darling.

'magnolia south hailed as the center of all artistic things in arbor hill, people refer to magnolia south as the boho district. colorful murals are painted on the sides of buildings and musicians play for nickels in the street: there is always something happening here. people flock to this area for a taste of unpretentious art and those who create the art tend to stay here. not exactly an upper-class part of town with it's old buildings and lack of development, but people aren't here for the glamour: they're here for the art and the experience. who needs lots of money when you can have happiness and self-expression, right?

'harlow circle known as the schooling district, it's a pretty accurate title of a district as all of the major schools in arbor hill are located here. this area is mainly jam-packed full of students, for obvious reasons, and is a pretty laid-back area to spend time in. don't expect a lot of fancy stores and chic clubs around here: it's built to cater to the students' budgets, so generally speaking it's not exactly expensive to live here. full of coffee houses and pubs and the community buildings, harlow circle is a young-faced crowd with a chill atmosphere; except things do tend to get a little tense around exam-time.

'ambrose downtown a taste of the upper east side in nyc, only in california, the ambrose downtown is otherwise known as the upper-class/business district in arbor hill. pushed to one end of the city, even when flying in it stands out with it's tall office buildings that shadow it's streets from the sun when you walk through it. full of ritzy restaurants, bars, and fancy places to hold cocktail parties or business luncheons, the downtown core is not for the, shall we say, light-of-wallet. if you live down here, it's probably to get closer to work, or because your family wanted to move closer to work: it's where the rich socialites gossip and play and the business-people make their way up the corporate ladder. have a blast, just make sure you have the cash to back you up.

'the verve bright lights, big city. the newest development in arbor hill, the verve is also probably the best-known, as it is, of course, the party district. it is a huge attraction to tourists, but more than that, it's where everyone wants to be when they talk about 'hitting the town.' packed with clubs and open-late bars, the verve is the place to be when you're looking for a little fun in the city, and there really is something for everyone. socialites, DJs and club kids rule these streets, and to make it to their titles you'd better dress in your finest and be willing to make a splash at the hot club for the night. it's not an expensive place to live if you know where to look, but it can be if you feel like spending the extra money to be closer to where the action is.

'the twang despite the development in other parts of the city, the twang has been kept relatively untouched, thus giving it the reputation of being the sort of olde town. original buildings and lack of 'hot spots' give the twang the sort of small-town charm with the big city just a few doors over. it is a tight-knit community and as such does not really accept a lot of people from the 'big city' as it doesn't want to see it's innocent community ruined by big-corporation development and driving up housing costs, as right now it's a very sort of average-income area. it's a real sort of 'hey, neighbor!' place where everyone knows everything about everyone, and everyone has known each other practically since they were kids. some can't wait to get out, others can't imagine living anywhere else.

'seven-four shoreline surfs up! the beach district is located directly next to the ocean, typically, and is a beloved escape for all the city-dwellers in arbor hill. filled with people's summer homes and cottages, not to mention a few average-sized places for those who want to actually live around here, there is a general feeling of warmth and relaxation in this district. whether you're walking the boardwalk with some ice cream or sunbathing next to the water, chances are you're already planning on when you're going to come back to this area again; and why wouldn't you want to? everyone loves a little fun in the sun.

arbor international airport a relatively new addition to arbor hill, but over the past twenty years with the population boom, the city suddenly had the money (and necessity) to build one. check to make sure you know your emergency exits and that you didn't get the parachute pack with the piano in the back.

absences gurl whurr you goin'?! this is a courtesy thing to other members if you're disappearing, and also it'd be pretty awkward when you're at your auntie's for vacation and the swat team busts down the door 'cause we thought you were kidnapped. like, boy would your face be red.
