there's a place where people dream big beneath the twinkling stars of the night sky. a majority of these people have spent their lives in a small town, sprawled out on the grass making plans for a better life. plans to move to the larger cities and escape the sometimes constricting comfort of small town life. many of those who have left have returned, finding the detachment from their extended family too much to bear. others have seemingly disappeared forever. either way, the small midwestern town of laurel, missouri offers much more than any big city ever could: that close knit, hometown familiarity. laurel isn't about polluted air or the sound of horns in the night. it's about learning to live, learning to love, instilling morals, and family. most importantly it's about the hometown glory that small town folks have learned since birth.
