Hey Jess. I am still looking into group accommodation and waiting for one more place to get back to me and it is just out of Wanaka. If they are all booked up as well then we then will have to find our own accommodation unless anyone else has ideas?

the guys that are going from CHCH We should go in a group, make a Cruise out of it Altezza Style and also i get lost lol

Dualchart that is a good idea too. That was the plan for us down here so that we can also stop along the way and get some shots!

What way would people from Chch normally get to Central? Just some town names would be good where u get off SH1 and then bigish sort of towns you go through to get there.

Usually turn into Geraldine, then pass Fairlie, Tekapo, Omarama. Another (less twisty) way is down to Waimate, then Omarama.

im not going but just making a suggestion... i think everyone one shud meet up half way say Timaru at such and such time and take the long way there .. i dont think its that much longer ... that way u meet everyone and no one gets lost and its a huge convoy!!!
