LEXUS LFA POSTS BEST FINISH AHEAD OF NÜRBURGRING 24HR
Lexus' LFA supercar finished fifth outright and first in class at the recent VLN5 Nürburgring endurance race - the best result to date for the Gazoo Racing outfit.
The VLN race is part of a five-round series, held in preparation for the gruelling Nürburgring 24 Hour race held at the end of June.
Gazoo Racing also fielded a second LFA, along with a modified CT hybrid hatch - sporting a 2.4-litre hybrid driveline.
The second LFA finished 118th in the event, with the team concentrating on shake down testing for the upcoming 24 hour race rather than race position.
The CT finished an outstanding second in class - in just its second racing event.
The Nürburgring 24 hour will be held over June 23-26 and will be the fourth time the LFA has competed in the event.
