Hi all,
Plastic Stone Guard running down drivers side, Between rear and front wheel.
Was driving along today and had thought id ran over something but turns out that 2 of the plastic sourouding the bolt holes had snapped off over time and the front was hanging low enough to hit the road.
Temp fix: will get some heavy duty duct tape to hold it up but was wondering whats needed to fix it?
I know ill most likely need a new stone guard, Was wondering if anyone knew about how much i should expect to pay?
In Christchurh, New Zealand.
Cheers,
JoshyEee

Make new holes the hold together with cableties.

Went to go tape it and found 4 were broken so ended up taking it off.
But if its not too expensive, will replace it

What does this plastic guard cover?

They're just underbody protection/aerodynamic aids as far as I know. Smoothing out the underside of the car makes it more slippery to the air passing over it.
They're a pain in the bum to have fitted as they get in the way of everything but I would definitely replace them, your motorway mileage will probably go up slightly without them.

Hooollly Molly, Toyota in CHCH quoted me $299 inc GST for the one to replace and said its normal RRP is $502.27 + GST.
Edit: Heres some pics

Ilam Toyota are way overpriced. Wait till Nick gets back from holiday and get in touch with him.

Would it be high due to the fact that it probably has to come from Japan?

Yeah that's what I was going to do.
Both places said the part had to come from japan hence the price.
