Hi guys, I'll be getting a Power FC for my altezza sometime tomorrow. The Power FC is second hand so it's already been tuned and I would imagine the self learning idling has already been done on this Power FC as well. My question is, do I have to do the self learning idling again?

mine was second hand and i did the idiling procedure, but the car ran mint, not surging or hunting or anything, so i dont think you really have to do it. its your call.

that's great... fingers crossed... I hope the tune that comes with the power fc is more or less suitable for my setup, the guy who I bought the power pc from only had pod filter and exhaust manifold upgrades for the engine, whic is very similar to what I have... it's just I can't get it dyno tuned here in hong kong... not something as accessible as in NZ or Australia...

just done with installation and up and running... but still had to go through the idling learning procedure... but then after that 30mins.. the engine seemed a lot smoother and more stable compared with the stock... i have power fc and idle had been rough and sensitive... idling is now a lot smoother when air-con and demister kick in... i wonder if the power fc still stores the old set up from the previous owner...
