Hey guys, I jus changed the rear tyres on the car today coz i got an awesome deal. I used to have 225-40-18 and now have upgraded to 245-40-18. The ride is currently stock height however coilovers have been ordered for the car. my main concern is that I won't be able to go low like i want it as the wheel now sticks out. Mind you the rims are 18x8. Any suggestions, will the wheels slightly camber in with coilovers?
and was this a wise move?
Input would be great.
Cheers Guy.
Roll and pull the guards they will fit. I had 255s under there with a lowish offset... All depends how much effort you want to put in. It'd be alot cheaper to put 225s back on if they fit previously.
Also 245s might be getting to the large end of the scale for 8" wheels. There is a page on here with legal tyre sizes if I remember right.

255 :o have you got a pic of how it sits?
yeah i have already rolled and flared out the guards a lil but that was when the 225's were on. Yeah i was considering switching bak to 225' but these just look soo damn good from the back :P
Just the white wheels in my profile pic. Didnt jave them long got them stolen out of my garage while I had my track wheels on.
You should be fine, I have lowered coilovers with 245/40/18 tyres on 18x9 +45 rims. Fit perfect.
