Hey guys i'm new here and i've been trawling through the threads but have hit lots of different opinions about the question in my head.

I'm going to upgrade from the factory to headunit to one of these >

I'm leaning more towards the 8450BT. I'm gonna be running a 15" fusion powerplant with a 900w fusion amp. Wheres the best place to put the amp, i was thinking under passenger or drivers seat, or doesn't it really matter?

hey mate, why not invest in something more fancy, lets say a screen?

If you do trust ebay i'd recommend getting a pioneer avh p4250 or something. they are really reliable and fun to work with.
you don't get the bluetooth with it but you can purchase the add on module. also what dash kit you going to get?
As for mounting the amp, why not the boot? just get some self tappers and mount it on the back seat so it looks tidy.

Hey not really into screens, i have found out they distract me whilst driving :o I'm using a kit i got off trademe from a company called car audio online. So you reckon just screw it into the backseat with self tappers?

Stick with the DEH-8450BT & you can't go wrong. Lots of features for the money. Have seen them parallel imported for $400 too.

Ok cool will check them out, im going to get a quote to get everything installed in my car as i dont have the time to spend on it unfortunately :( :(
