I dont mean to be negative mate, but they look kinda tacky...

Most guys go for the JDM look and spray their lenses black/gun metal and if they wish retrofit halos and HID's into the stock headlights.

(Do a search to find threads on this or check mine out on the cruise this Sunday)

Guy on the my.is forum went out and bought a set, put them on and posted pics up... I give him credit for having the balls to buy them and post them on the most abusive car forum, but eewwww man they don't look good, trust me, that and the fact it's a USDM headlight which is not just a straight fit on an is200 and will point on the other side of the road, you're better off self modding.

At first when i saw them they looked pretty kool..but after looking at it more on ebay..i realised how crap they kinda looked...never really saw them on a car though..

Not for me

Each to their own but I think Projectors detract from the look of the Altezza/IS. I was going to do this mod on mine but the more I looked at photos of them the less I liked them, but as I said each to their own, we all have different tastes so if you like the look go for it. By the way I have 2 Soarer and 4 S13 projector units if anyone wants to give it a go.

Just a note, I'd say that although the beam pattern has no where near a clean cut with the reflector housings, when using a generic HID kit, it actually gives out a better dispertion than using a HID kit in OEM projectors such as those in an S15.

When correctly used, your headlight adjustment motors are able to ensure that you don't blind any oncoming motorists, even on level I haven't had any troubles with police or other road users.
