so should we say sunday? so that it helps people that are working on saturday? but has to be weather permitting eh...no point going to a beach when its cloudy...i was also think a place ngaruwahia..but in the mountains..follow willow creek road...pretty windy and tar sealed, and there some sort of thermal pools there to..

i vote somewhere within 5-10mins of takeaways/pizza so we dont have to organise a bbq :P and need a plan b for wet day..

theres plantation on orewa road..but that its in orewa..closest pizza is manly..way before shakespear beach...

lol.. it's Ngaruawahia and the pools are Waingaro Hot Springs... spent quite a few days lazing in those pools myself and it's a good drive, hot pools, slides, BBQ areas and tables, plus a bar :)

I can't make this one, even though I'm Auckland at the moment! Have to go & see Mum in Rotorua...

I can make it next weekend, 7 & 8th march.

I will be there on Sunday, change of plans and I will be available to make the meet.

Most probably i'll be there.

OK- I did Rotorua thursday & friday.. no internet down there! ..so I have Sunday free.

Now, we've done a similar run down there before, the Kaimai Lunch run- but that was on the old website and I've lost the route maps etc. This is all we have left.

We will be on back roads almost all the way, places most people never see. I haven't had time to write a route map, so it will have to be a convoy over some of the best driver's roads in the upper North Island!

This will be a once-in-a-lifetime chance, I don't know when I'll get back to NZ to plot some out of the way run on roads with no painted lines on! :woot:

We will go through Morrinsville, so we can meet the Hamilton guys there.

Ok- here is where we will go-

If the weather is particularly crap or there are only a few of us we might make it a short run through Hunua to Miranda and back up the coast road.

Either way, I can promise some great driving roads! :skid:
